Although my kitchen is not fancy by any stretch, I love how these dress it up a bit. The instructions are not very clear on which way to attach the stickers, but a quick online search will bring up a few videos. Installation requires no tools and is very easy to do. The stick-on guides that are included with each light are invaluable to help you place each light in just the right spot. They stay charged for a good length of time (I have not had to recharge yet) and are easy to recharge by removing the light bar or by plugging in the charging cord while the light is in place. I love all the lighting features from bright to warm light, with five levels of brightness for whichever effect you prefer. The light can stay on or it can be set to temporarily light up by motion sensor. The price for these is an excellent value for what appears to be a high quality product. The stickers that hold the magnets are more than adequate to assure they will not release after placement. Even if underneath your cabinets is clean, do yourself a favor and give it a good cleaning to remove any cooking residue to ensure the best hold. I absolutely love these. ... show more

These lights are so cool. They work great. You can attach under cabinet, in a closet, etc., with either a small screw or included adhesive strip. They have a magnetic strip attached to the adhesive strip and then light bar attaches to it. Easy to take down and recharge. There are different levels of light, motion detection for day and night. These are great. Magnets hold strong to the shelves I put the metal part on. Lights hold charge for a long time, could use a longer timer before the motion lights shut off. Overall these are great, work wonderfully in my basement workroom and give perfect light where i need it.

    • I didn't expect to LOVE a little light so much

Sometimes little things can make a big difference. My dog is old and she has a problem seeing, especially in the dark. She has a cubby area under some cabinets in my kitchen where all her food and water is. But it's dark. She's been stepping on her food bowl trying to navigate under there so I needed an automatic light. I did some research and landed on this Gritin. I liked the size and USB-C charging, so I made the purchase. I immediately love it. Now I'm even rethinking some closets. Although there are a lot of competitors, a few features make it stand apart. For me, this is what I really love, aside from the very cheap price: You have multiple color temperature choices. Once set, it will stay there. You also have multiple levels of brightness. For my dog's space, I only use the second from the lowest setting. That's plenty bright for her. I also like that you can set the sensor to work in day or night, meaning even if there is light in the room, it will still work. For her, in that space, it's perfect. Another great function is the 20-second time-out. The timer starts when there is no more motion. So if there is movement for a few minutes, the light is never interrupted. Only when there is no movement for 20 seconds. Also, it comes with 2 magnetic plates that you can either stick somewhere, or leave the backing on the plates and use the single small screw hole in the center. I haven't needed to charge yet, but it just pops off for charging. I estimate the total light I would need in a 24 hour period for that spot is no more than 5-6 minutes. I'd imagine this lasting a very long time before recharging, but I'll edit this if it's an unreasonably short time. With the size of battery, I'd expect at least a few months. I have a small cabinet I use for my hidden music equipment. Now I know where this second one will go. Great product! ... show more

The lights are very nice, with the various shades and levels of brightness. The auto sensor is excellent and works very well, especially in closets and cabinets. The only issue is with the weak magnets. They did not hold the light in place and it continued to drop down from the shelving above onto the lower shelf where we house our laptop. These are great little lights. Small thin with great lighting. Magnets seem very strong and they have the option of screwing them in, I chose to just stick them on. They’ve been up a couple weeks. I haven’t used them much yet so not sure on battery life. However had them on for a couple hours yesterday while I was sitting at my desk working on my taxes and they were bright and didn’t die.
