  • Easy to assemble
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
Great product! Easy to assemble and very easy to use. It works well for my garden and saves me a lot of time and effort. The battery life is good, and the machine is not too heavy. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others. Thank you!

  • Unbelievably good, works better than I ever hoped
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
This is the third product I've bought from Greenworks, and I love them all. I already had the blower and edger, and if those had not worked so great, I would never have even tried an electric tiller. The four blades on this are just enough width and depth to break up the ground to make planting a ton easier -- says the senior citizen who is trying to keep moving : ). The power is plenty and the batteries last much longer than I ever thought I could get. Recommend without any hesitation or reservation. ... show more

  • Excellent for raised beds
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
This isn't a big tiller BUT it's pretty impressive, works beautifully on our raised beds, right off the bat i lost and replaced the cotter pen that holds the wheels on after that no problem, let's see how many years we get out of it

  • The little beast that COULD!
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
I owned a gas tiller for years, but got tired of the headaches related to ethanol gas in simple carbs- it just kills them. So, after much debate, I decided to chance this little machine. MAN what a pleasant surprise! It tills through raw lawn (grass still growing) like butter, and even kicks out rocks etc. just like my 5hp gas one did! Granted, it doesn't till as deep, but that's not a problem- I'm only trying to restart a garden about 8x8, along with cleaning up around some other areas here and there where plants/shrubs have been moved. This machine is so light I can just pick it up and carry it where I want. The tires allow it to roll, but it's quicker to just pick it up! Those same tires also seem to limit the depth of cut a little, but you could easily remove them and get a little deeper- but there's really no need. Just like any tiller will, vines and roots will bind around the tines, but a flat head screwdriver and a couple minutes of poking cures that darn quick & easy. I've owned a LOT of tools over the years, and sometimes one really does impress with its simplicity, usefulness, and ability to do the job. This little beast is one of them- enough so I ordered another for my daughter at her house. ... show more

  • Really good
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
Wow so cool. Pretty easy to put tines and handle on. Tills really well for home garden. Shoveled for 90 minutes tiller took 20. EASY to unclog tines cause it's electric just tip it over. 74yo at 5'3 and I can manage it. Thrilled with this

  • Worst Greenworks I have ever bought!
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
Quality is garbage, I was satisfied with my other greenworks purchases and with the plan to stay within that brand for batteries amongst my devices. I cannot tell you how bad this product is. The battery does not seat well and will not stay in place. This is extremely frustrating having to stop every 5 seconds to push it into place. I haven't had the trouble of it shutting off due to rocks as other customers. But this issue of the battery popping out makes it unusable. ... show more

  • Very pleased.
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
Works better than I expected based on some of the reviews. Has plenty of power for my previously tilled beds. I didn’t try to do all the beds at once so battery time was adequate. I would till a bed and then plant it. The next day I would do the same. Nothing has jammed it up. It would take a fair sized rock to do that. I haven’t had any problems getting the battery out although it could be better designed ergonomically. I did hit a couple of pavers as I worked which did jar loose the battery. I just pressed it down and was ready to go again. ... show more

  • Answer to Battery and Rock Problems
Style: 4Ah Battery and Charger Pattern Name: soil tiller cultivator
This is my second Greenworks tiller. The first one broke the gearbox after 6 years in a 50' x 70' garden. People report problems getting the battery to stay connected and getting the battery to come out. This is a legitimate problem, but it has a fix. There are two rubber bumpers at the base of the battery housing that push the battery outwards. If you don't push the battery in until the latch locks, it will pop back out. The other problem of removing the battery is that you need to push the battery in against those rubber bumpers while at the same time pushing down on the latch that is built into the outward end of the battery downwards. IE push battery in, push latch down, and battery will pop out. The rocks getting stuck in between the tines and the housing is a problem of design and can not be fixed. That is what finally broke my first tiller. Customer service is non existent. A few parts are available but hard to find. Why did I buy the second one? I'm 75 years old and can pick this up and put in in the back of my truck and till my garden. I'm too old to even pull start my 25 cubic inch 750 pound Kaiser Frazer tiller that I could run when I was 50 years old. I also have the Greenworks 40 volt Chain Saw, Weed eater, Pole Saw, Blower and 5 good batteries, plus 2 dead ones. ... show more
