I have been using the GreenPan Padova Reserve 10 piece set for about 6 months and these pieces are a complete game changer. I ordered this larger sauté pan because the 2.8 quart size included in the set wasn’t quite big enough for my family of 6. This one is the perfect size, and is wonderful as expected! I used to cringe when I thought about cooking eggs (and just about everything else!) because cleaning the pans was such a nightmare…but not anymore. This is how cooking and cleaning should be! After 6 months of use I haven’t had any issues with foods sticking, and all of my pieces still look brand new. I can’t recommend these products enough! ... show more

    • Bottom of pan warped upon first use, even though I was cooking with low heat
Size: 4.5 QT Saute Pan with Helper Handle and Lid
If the bottom of a saute pan is even the slightest bit warped, you're going to have uneven distribution of oil and heat. Well, the bottom of this pan warped after the first use. First time I cooked with it, I used low heat and it was lovely - perfectly flat-bottomed and the teaspoon of canola oil I added had spread out over the bottom evenly. I let the pan cool down to room temp before hand-washing it. But the second time I used it (to fry up some fritters), I saw that the oil pooled to one side. It was almost impossible to make fritters that were evenly browned - I had to keep pushing them around the pan to equalize the browning. Super disappointing for a pan with such stellar reviews. I threw out the pan after struggling with the warped bottom problem for a few more meals - the uneven cooking was really affecting the quality of my dishes. I also found that the pan was too heavy to use comfortably....I'm a middle-aged female but I lift weights almost every day and am very lean and fit, and I still found this pan too heavy.
