I've had a set of Copper Chef cookware for about 2 years. We've taken really good care of them but everything is sticking to them. Trying to scamble eggs is a nightmare. The copper is also staining and starting to wear off. So, I started to do some research. I would love to have HexClad by Gordon Ramsay but I'd rather keep $900 and only spend about $200. I looked at Granite Stone, Blue Diamond, Rachel Ray, Pioneer Woman, etc. I have a ninja skillet that I use for large stirfry dishes - I love it because things don't stick, but the handle & the lid grip gets really really HOT! I've had a couple stainless steel pots for over 20 years and they are holding up and doing great. Things stick a bit but we're keeping those. Our Copper Chef & Paul Dean cookware pieces are going to Goodwill. The GreenLife cookware set has been PHENOMENAL!! We have a gas stove so sometimes the heat distribution causes things to not cook evenly in a larger skillet or pot. The heat distribution with GreenLife is awesome and I LOVE the soft grips on the handles & lids! I didn't have to worry about burning myself trying to stir things! We rarely have pancakes but when we received the flat skillet - we tried it! We made 4 little pancakes and they all cooked with even heat distribution and turened out amazing! I also like to make fried potatoes. I used the large skillet and I think it was the best batch of fried potatoes I've ever made! The potatoes were slightly browned and crispy - not one of them stuck to the skillet. My husband used one of the pots for his rice & beans - he's in love. Anyway - We've had a great expereience for the last week. Of course, we know that cookware isn't made to last forever, however, I'm looking forward to using these for the next couple of years.! ... show more

Nonstick aspect is great and interior is durable. Exterior finish is not the greatest. Many of the pans arrived with tiny scratches or nicks in them. The exterior scratches easily. I liked the quantity of pans in the set is one of the main reasons I chose this set.

We purchased a set of these pans a few months ago. I had eyed them for a long time so I ignored the red flag when the first set came: the cream-colored lining in the bottom of one of the pans was uneven to the point it was nearly transparent in some places, almost showing the gray metal underneath. I wanted to think it was a one-off defect so I sent that set back and exchanged it for a new set, which appeared fine. Apparently it was not. I absolutely babied them according to the care and use instructions. It is honestly ridiculous how gentle I was being, but I wanted to play it safe at first and felt thankful to have such pretty new pans. Most of the pans are fine except for two. One of the frying pans, treated exactly as we did the other pans, developed peculiar discoloration inside after the second use that seems to be underneath the top layer of the pan’s lining and cannot be removed via their suggested methods. We chose not to contact the company about this frying pan as it still functions despite the lack of cosmetic appeal, and we were trying to be reasonable. We did go on to contact the company regarding the 5-quart stockpot, as the inside of the pan began chipping into our food after only being used a few times. We have never once attempted to take any company up on their warranty for any item, but the quality of this pan absolutely falls short of the company’s claims. A pan needs to be a functional piece of kitchen equipment, it isn’t meant to just sit on a shelf and look nice. Having to deal with getting a replacement on something that shouldn’t need to be replaced is a pain in itself. When a company won’t even honor its warranty? Unacceptable. I would never recommend this cookware to anyone, despite how most of the other pans are fine. GreenLife has the same parent company as GreenPan, so I wouldn’t trust an appropriate outcome from dealing with either brand. The quality control on their products is clearly not consistent. You simply don’t know what you’re going to get. Do you want to spend hundreds of dollars on pans that may or may not be in worse condition after a few weeks than your decades-old pans? Not what I was looking to do. We also purchased other GreenPan cookware individually to match this GreenLife set, and now I wish we didn’t. We are angry but don't have time to pursue this any further. Even if the value of these pans is relatively small, it is unethical to say there is a warranty but then not honor it. If they are doing this to us, who knows how many people they are doing it to. If the company comes around and we get a replacement for the stockpot, I will come back and post an update. I will do this despite the time I have already wasted trying to deal with this company because it is the right thing to do, even if that’s something they apparently don’t care about. ... show more
