    • DON'T BUY THIS AIR FRYER - it will fail because the timer is electrically under-rated.

Junk. It lasted 5 months and is dead. I'm a retired reliability engineer. I tore it apart to find the problem. The mechanical timer had failed. I tore the timer apart and found that carbon had built up on the leaf switch contact. I sanded off the carbon and TADA it works again. But - it won't work for long. The timer contacts are rated at just 15 Amps (it's stamped on the side of the timer). At 1500 Watts and 110 Volts, this air fryer requires 12.5 Amps. That's too close to 15 Amps. The timer should be rated for at least 20 Amps for long-term operation. I bought this specifically because it was simple - no LED displays or electronics. Oh well. They still find a way to cheaply build even simple things. Frustrating. Hey GreenLife - I want a refund! ... show more

This air fryer works well and cooks evenly, though it does take a bit longer than my old one. It’s smaller and was cheaper, so the trade‑off makes sense. What I really love is that it’s not touchscreen, just straightforward knobs. Overall, a good little air fryer for the price.

...know this: there is a piece of plastic that if it breaks will cause the unit to not work. Enclosed are 2 pictures. I bought this and it worked great for almost 2 months, but I noticed it started becoming harder to push in the food drawer. Then one day it stopped working (just as I was going to write my initial review). I contacted the seller- GreenPan and after providing the relevant info they very graciously and expediently sent me a replacement. That impressed me to no end. My review of the product itself is that it is TERRIFIC. The ceramic interior cleans easily and cooks efficiently. But I cannot stress enough- do not force the food tray in any way. Put some cooking grease around the edge pictured to prevent any need to use force to avoid making the mistake I did. That chip (that I did not notice until the replacement arrived for comparison) was enough to stop the unit from working. So my review gives both 5 stars to the company, Green Pan that sells it for their extremely professional response and for the operation of the air fryer itself. ... show more
