I don't dock stars for shipping issues as that isn't within the sellers control. FedEx was the carrier and missed the estimated arrival date by 5 days. Just an FYI there. Assembly: The instructions were simple for a complex table. I'd say simple is better. Overall, most of the assembly process was easy to accomplish solo. Two things to note. First, an electric screwdriver helps a lot during assembly. Second, don't over tighten in the "wood" sections or the hole will be stripped of anchor material. Table functionality: Disclosure, I bought this table to accommodate 2 life functions. One is for dinner during movie nights. In that regard, it works great and the sales pictures are accurate. I got exactly what I expected based on that conjecture. The top opens and stows relatively easy. Storage is acceptable. The outlets are easy to access. Second function I bought this table for is to set up a lifestyle projector. I needed a bottom shelf with enough height to accommodate the cubed shape inherent to these types of projectors. Space wise, this also met my expectations. Unfortunately, the bottom shelf uses a thin and fairly flexible mesh as the flat surface material. I temporarily added a box to help stabilize the shelf under the projector. A rigid piece of material will be needed as a permanent addition for my needs. Otherwise, this is a great product for a short throw projector. Quality: the machining process for all of the parts had decently tight tolerances factored in, allowing for a pretty stress free assembly process. I didn't have to worry much about a crooked piece there or a misalignment here type of situation. There was a broken piece of veneer on a none visible surface that ended up being no problem at all. There was some excess glue from a couple of edge banding strips that I scraped off using my fingernail. Probably wood glue. TLDR review roundup: Table works as expected, assembled relatively easy and matches the sellers description/pictures adequately for the price. Took my brother and I 1 hour and 50 minutes to assemble. Instructions were pretty clear, but I do kind of wish it was more Ikea like. There's honestly like between 60 and 80 screws, some of them are actual screws some of them are Allen wrench type and some of them end up in tight corners or spaces but honestly I just used a drill and electric screwdriver for the whole thing even if the instructions say that not do that lol. I had a big open area and I just laid all the pieces out and One of those hardware separation mats for all the screws and stuff and the pieces all nice and labeled things a lot simpler. Having a second person helps a lot, but I could see myself doing this on my own it probably just would have been harder and maybe taking an extra 20 minutes. Table looks okay, I do think you know the pictures are the most flattering they could be but in real life you can see like where pieces don't fit like perfectly together as if it were like iPhone or something it clearly is a cheap product but very functional, and does exactly what I want it to. I have a small apartment so having something that not only looks nice and can function for just me and my brother and a small apartment but that can unfold into something big enough to seat for people for food or maybe six people if you're just doing like a game on the table is ideal. Honestly though the LED light and The four power outlets is a little gimmicky because are you really going to run a power cable across your living room or wherever you have this? Anyways still absolutely a five-star product. LEDs are not as powerful as pictured unless that's like an enhanced photo taken in the dark, but it's definitely still visible even with the lights on. ... show more

I was really excited for this piece. We live in an old 1940's home where most of the rooms in the house have limited space, so something that can fold up and be smaller when we need the space is wonderful. I got this table for my teenage daughters' room for various activities and meals. Assembly was as expected. Everything was organized and the instructions made sense. It took my husband a few hours to put together, and overall he didn't seem to have any issues and chatted with me the whole time. He was frustrated about some of the more hard to reach screws at the end, but I held the top while he screwed, and we got past that quickly. The size is exactly as expected. It gives a good amount of table and storage/shelf space while still being nice and compact. In fact, there is just enough space underneath the bottom shelf to slip some slippers or small shoes underneath, or whatever else you want to tuck away. (I purposely shopped for this feature.) The height is absolutely perfect for low beds (theirs are 12 and 22 inches high). Details I love: The storage space on the inside is happiness in a table. It comes with super fun and customizable LED lighting that you can set to pulse with the beat while you talk, laugh, or listen to music. It also comes with three outlets and an extra USB on the side. Yes, yes, and yes. Details I hate: The tabletop, when it's unfolded. I specifically had board games in mind with this table. In the item description pictures, it shows no hinges sticking out in the middle. I should have paid attention. Hello, hinges. There are three, with one smack dab in the center, which means we'll have to get creative when we want to play an actual board game with a board between us. The table is good quality - I feel I got what I paid for. It's sturdy and heavy enough to stay put, but still lightweight enough to move around. The surface of the table is nice, smooth, and what you'd expect in a table: scratch and moisture resistant. In quality, its downfall is in the hinges. The table top doesn't slide out very smoothly; you have to use both hands and pull either side at the same time. It seems like you could possibly damage the hardware if you're not careful. One thing you should be aware of with this table, is to NOT unfold the bifold tabletop part unless you have the support tray out. If you do, it will most likely come down all the way and warp the hinges (possibly ripping them off). Be careful with this thing. Treat it kindly, and it will treat you kindly. ... show more

This company and this coffee table are both very high quality. I initially ordered the coffee table to the wrong address, and despite it being fully my mistake, they offered me $30 to not worry about returning it, as returning it would have been more expensive to me than the coffee table itself. I ended up ordering another one (to the correct address this time) and it’s great. It’s a little confusing to put together as some of the screw holes aren’t fully done, but the table is beautiful and works well for my family. ... show more

I LOVE this coffee table. It’s perfect for smaller spaces where you don’t have room for a dining table. It’s opens up to a large enough size for 6-8 people to sit around it and play card games (why I bought it.) The distressed wood is so pretty. I’ve had this table since March, and absolutely love it! We bought it because we host game nights and such, and it’s perfect size to accommodate a bunch of people! I use it for work, to do crafts. It does not leave any kind of ring marks, it wipes clean so easily. There is so much storage space! Honestly, a 10/10. Everyone who comes over and sees it unfold LOVES it. If you have a large sectional and livingroom, this is perfect to give every part of the couch a surface to use. It is a bit taller than most “coffee tables” are, but for us eating on it, we actually prefer it.
