These pots are very light and the material feels thin, which allows the heat to transfer quickly to the food, but offers little to no heat retention so your food will go cold quickly unless you keep the stove on. My set only came with Spanish instructions so I had to use google translate to check for any precautions with these pots (no metal utensils or high heat). ... show more

These are nice! They look sharp, and are pretty!! Although they’re nice quality I thought they’d be a little heavier. These are gorgeous pots. I cook a lot, and sometimes I need something bigger than a "normal" sauce pan. I have always used some granite ware pans, and I absolutely love them.     • Nice set, with a couple caveats
This is a fairly nice set, perhaps a hair on the pricier side, but should last a long time. It came well packaged and looks good. Unfortunately, I did not get exactly what I expected, at least partially because I neglected to read the sales material thoroughly. So I'm going to share some additional information to help others avoid the same mistake. 1. Granite Ware cannot be used with induction, glass top stoves. 2. The 9.5" diameter mentioned in the photo does not take into account a curved lip which reduces the actual inner diameter of the large pot to about 8 5/8". My 9" canning platform did not fit inside. 3. The pots do not fit inside one another. This is somewhat suggested by the fact that they share the same lid, but I did not pick up the ramifications of that. ... show more

These are really great pots. They’re nonstick and are easy to clean. I made chicken tacos in the 3 qt the other night and I was able to fit 2lbs of meat in there. Love that the lid can fit both pots. This is a great set.
