Delivery was as projected. The scooter was as described. The assembly was very easy and quickly accomplished. I "broke" it down into two pieces in an attempt to determine how I would handle future travel & found that the two pieces could be handled without additional help.     • Love the Scooter but Take Care of It
We love our Golden Buzzaround Carryon Scooter and wouldn’t have any other model. It is easy to transport and set up and with 4 wheels is very stable. The 5th star is missing because the tiller (steering column) is not as robust as the rest of the product. For what ever the reason we had to replace the column once (warranty repair) and have service to reconnect the tiller attitude control cable after a transportation mishap. It is easy to properly transport when you are the transporting agent. Not so easy to control when you had it over to the gate check team at the airport. ... show more

    • Battery does not fit.
This is a great little scooter, however, the battery does not fit in the compartment and lay flush with the floor as seen on the product page. Ive contacted custimer servive and ave sent them the photos they reauested shoewing that the battery doesnt fit. receive a messGe back saytping that there are wires to be moved out of the way. There are no wires near, in, or around the battery compartment to move. It just simply does not fit. The battery appears to big for the compartment. Very disappointed. I need this scooter. For the money, i would look for different scooter. I would not buy this scooter again. ... show more

I love this little scooter. I also love the USB port to charge my phone and the water bottle holder. I can fold it and put it in my back seat. I can take the basket off and collapse it flat when transporting. No need for a ramp or a rack on the back of my truck. It moves fast but doesn't seem to be designed for off-road driving. The wheels are solid rubber so the ride is a little bumpy when traveling on a sidewalk or road. The battery life is awesome although I have not put it to the test in a mall yet. When I fold it down and take the battery out, it only weighs about 35 pounds so it is easy to pick up. I love that it has handles in the front and on the side. After reading the instructions, I was surprised that it said not to allow the battery to deplete. I always thought that depleting the battery would make it last longer. I guess Lithium batteries are different. It is handy for walking my dog to the dog park in my neighborhood. She walks very fast but now I can keep up with her . I park it just inside the gate and it doesn't take up hardly any space. My arthritic knees are super grateful. ... show more

    • As a physical therapist have never had such bad customer service
Scooter broke within 2 months, 5 beeps apparently means motherboard is "fried" per dme company after calling company The company told repairman they could get another motherboard sent in a few months which turned into a few weeks and the 5 days by the time the dme company fought with company for 2 days Would never buy again and feel duped out of 2300 plus extra $ to buy 2 tsa compliant batteries as the battery with scooter isnt allowed on planes. Cust service told dealer well you don't get a new car when you drive it off the lot if theres a bad part". The tech from dealer called tech at golden and they were asking condition of the scooter as if I had misused the scooter. I paid 2300 for a scooter I can't trust. The battery gauge shows a good charge, then drops quickly. As a physical therapist who has helped multiple people with equipment ordering and fitting, I have never dealt with a company that doesn't go out of the way to help, esp 2 months after a purchase. I don't want anyone else to experience this. No one called from company to even check on me. ... show more

    • Standard battery Not airline approves
This is a good product. Easy to use and easy to transport. However, after spending $2 000 , I would not expect to have to spend another $500 on an airline approved battery. The standard battery is prohibited due to the wattage. And, the "travel" battery is very short range...6 miles. I'm not opposed to paying extra for the battery, but $500 is a bit much for a short mileage battery. Calling this "Carry on" is deceptive. Update: I found a smaller local pharmacy who sold the travel battery for $250. I bought two to account for the short range. Had no trouble what so ever taking it on flights. My mom was able to ride it to the door and walk to her seat. We stored the scooter seat overhead. ... show more
