I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on a heater. We live in California so it doesn't get that cold, however, we live in an old home and pressured heating/air was not an option without a lot of other large alterations to the home. That being said, it gets quite cold in the morning and at night. We recently had all he wall heaters removed due to the asbestos pipes they were connected to, we have a toddler and wanted something that was tamper proof. So looking for a heater that worked well with our space and life was important. That being said, this heater did all plus some. I love that it can be remotely controlled. So I can prime the house before we come home. It can be mounted higher, so it would be out of reach of my toddler, and of course it is asthetically appealing. The most important thing is that I actually heats the rooms. I say rooms, we bought 2, our house is about 1200 SQ ft. It warms our the entire house pretty well. (Again, we are in California, it doesn't really get that cold so take that into consideration) . We keep it on at 70 and it hasn't failed since. Awesome buy ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I normally don't write reviews, but this heater really deserves it. My home was built in the 50's , and man does it get very cold, down to 35° inside. Sometimes I go outside to warm up. I don't use gas heaters for heath reasons. This heater has many features that work in my home. The heater works with my smart home. I can control it even when I'm away from home. So it a plus to turn it on from the App before I get home. The LED display it big, so I can see the temp easily. The heater has 4 setting for the vents, 60°, 90°, 120° and Auto oscillation. There is an ECO mode, and 3 fan settings, and The Child Lock is a bonus. Last year I had 3 heaters for the front of my home. But so far this 1 is all I'm using to heat my Kitchen, livingroom and hallway. There's no ugly smell from it, like there is with other heaters. But I honestly thought that I'd be returning this heater, as I've tried many wall heaters that did not get the job done and had to return them. The remote control is great because unlike other wall heaters, I Can also control my heater from the front panel, so If I lose the remote it's not a problem. The size is great. It's not too big. And, it is not noisy either. I can barely hear it when in ECO mode. A bonus feature is that it detects if my front door/window is open, so it's a comfort knowing it's not going to go off and on to maintain the temp while the door or window is open. My main reason for ordering this heater was the wifi function. I can now monitor my homes heat and control it from anywhere. All of my heat is electric and I always worried about leaving it running when I left for work. I don't have to worry anymore because I can monitor everything in the Dreo App. I also ordered the version with the "Fort plug" which adds the extra security of overheating at the plug. The app interface is easy to use and has every function available that you could need. Installation was as easy as you can get. I did it myself in about 10 minutes. They included all of the mounting hardware, a guide so you know exactly where to drill the pilot holes, and the guide even includes a level! It's not noisy and it even has a sleep function if you're sensitive to sound. I am thoroughly impressed with the functionality of this heater and the ability to mount it on the wall makes it even better. I might get another one for my bedroom! The price point was $139 when I ordered, which is invaluable when you're worried about the safety of your home. ETA: The heater works great, but it frequently disconnects from my network and won't reconnect. It's a hassle, and part of the reason I bought it. Doesn't effect the functionality of the actual heater, it's just annoying because then all of my schedules I have set up don't work. I hope it will stop disconnecting. ... show more

Using in our 5th wheel in rear and works as it should, very pleased with this purchase. Attached to wall, no issues with weight, very light. Filter very easy to clean except instead of screws, maybe clips installed, have to unscrew 2 screws to clean filter. Temp easy to change on app!

I really like the concept of the heater. It throws heat but the thermostat doesn’t work it on. I bought it to use the eco setting. However, whatever the ambient temperature is when I plug it in stays at that temperature so even it it gets below the temp I don’t want, it doesn’t adjust. I have to unplug it and plug it back in for the temp to adjust on it. I had already installed it on my wall so I’m not sending back. Just beware. ... show more

This is a wall mounted heater. Comes with a very good install kit, a template with built-in level. I bought this to replace in wall cadet heaters. This will easily heat a 400 sq. Ft. Area to 75+ degrees. One of these replaced 2 cadet in wall heaters and it is a million times more efficient. App works perfectly, heat can be directed at multiple positions, literally takes 5 minutes to install. I will be purchasing many more of these. If you need a plug in wall mounted heater to replace in wall cadet heaters or baseboard electric heat, this is what you want.
