  • I like it alot.
My scooter arrived a few days ago from Amazon. It took about 1 hour for my wife and I to get it out of the box and put it together. I charged the battery until the charging light went off. (About 3 hours) Then I took it on it's maiden voyage. My wife walked with me as we traveled around the neighborhood. So here are my impressions so far: -It's quick. The manual says the top speed is 4 mph. That sounds slow, but my wife who is a fast walker had to ask me to slow down. -It's very quiet. -Its easy. I rode it around the neighborhood without breaking a sweat. :-) -It's fun. -It moves very nicely on smooth pavement. I tried it for a short distance on the lawn. It was OK there too although the lawn was fairly flat so I'll have to try it out on a bumpier section in the future. -Three wheel scooters such as this one are not as stable as the four wheeled ones. But I didn't have any problem with that. Just take it slow when turning. -The price was less than most comparable scooters. (But yes it is made in China) -Most scooters can be broken down into several parts for transporting in your car. The heaviest of those parts might be the limiting factor in determining if you can lift it into your car. Of the scooters I looked at this one had the lightest heavy part, only 27.5 pounds. My wife and I were able to break it down and load it into the back of my Jeep Patriot with little trouble. The best thing to have is a good pair of legs that allow you to walk around normally. But if illness or injury has taken that from you then this scooter might be the next best thing. So far I like it ...alot! Just 1 negative and its a very minor one; The horn is pretty anemic- Your PC probably makes a louder beep when it doesn't like something you did. ... show more

  • Excellent For Price!
My mother lost ability to walk after a back surgery gone wrong. I wanted a good brand who stands behind their products, but I didn't have money to buy one. With the 0% interest on Amazon card for 12 months I was able to get it. This scooter works great and we're very pleased. Wish it had a light, but that's the only complaint. I've taken it on two doctors visits and it's easy to make trunk ready so that is a huge bonus. I've rode it to a rehabilitation facility she was at to test it out, and back home when she got out. I wanted to know it was good for her. So, no light is only complaint, and that makes it a winner in my book. Just keep in mind three wheels can tip easier than four, if you think it will be an issue. It's great for us, and fits all our old door frames that are smaller. Turns incredibly sharp, the bonus of three instead of four wheels. Perfect for our needs! I'm glad I bought it, and she calls it her new ride, so she's happy with it too. Can't be more happy for a new scooter at this price that's perfect. Picture at her rehabilitation facility with me on it. ... show more

  • Yup..this baby made me love going outside again
Its a great little scooter but it takes practice..like the tipping...dont go sideways on slanty ground..like the entrance to driveways..the ramp at crosswalks ect...go head on..and dont turn until you hit flat ground. Since it only has 1 wheel up front your feet turn to sides.. thinking of putting bar across it to lay feet on..something...battery connection came apart the first day..but once i pushed scooter back i figured it out...tested it out uphill and it beeped and died when i went to steep...pushed the button next to charging port and . poof..back running again Biggest thing is the first 3 days..stay close to house until you work out bugs....Like taking the scooter apart in order that you put in car...then put together the opposite way..takes less than a minute if you put in order The speed IS SEVERELY LACKING..i barely beat out a dog who looked on life support after its master worked him out. Wish I could soop the speed up. ...but taking it out now on longer trips and soaking in the good life I missed out on cuz i couldnt walk the distances...so even the speed doesnt bother me that much anymore...jimmy rigged my "cruise control" a bundy cord stretched across to opposite side controller..wedged in so it keeps the scooter on full blast...zip tie mattached to bundgy cord so i can release when coming to a stop....but my sisters brilliant suggestion was that when i neeed to slow down..use the knob on slow or fast...then turn back up to get the juice going instead of pulling bundgy cord out every time i slowed down. Only use the cruise control on LONG DRIVES. but overall this baby has changed my life...im an outdoor person again and seeing the sights even in my small town has been inspiring...didnt know their was so much open space out there..and the people ive met on my travels has made me believe in people again. Just so sweet and kind. Yup..im a believer again. Just added pics of my bungy cord "cruise control"..usually these come in packs of bungy cords..but the addition of zip ties makes it so im not trying to find the ball..just jerk on bungy and it loose again. Just went for a 4 mile jaunt and saved my trigger thumb some pain. ... show more

  • Easy mobility.
I have been having difficulty with walking due to lower back pain in my legs and neuropathy. This enables me to move about the house with ease. I chose the three wheeled version and it easily navigates through doorways and over floor moldings. I haven’t used it outdoors as yet due to high summer temperatures. I am disappointed that it is not as portable as I would like. For long trips it does break down into six parts, but not convenient for shopping trips or doctors appointments. It is easy to operate going forward and reverse doing so with a touch and stopping with a removal of your hand. ... show more
