The scooter arrived today. The packaging is great, a sturdy carboard box over a steel angle iron frame and skid. You will need a 10mm socket wrench and 10 mm open end, or box end wrench to remove the upper part of the shipping frame. Also a pair of diagonal cutters to cut the wire holding the wheels to the skid. Also a 14mm open end wrench to lock the mirrors down. The trunk is secured with the same 10mm wrenches, however there is a small 2 piece wrench set included with owner manual. To dispose of the frame call a local maintence shop like a golf course, facility maintence shop, hot rod shop, even the local tinker guy as there is 40 feet of usable 1 inch x 3/16 angle iron, plus a metal skid, great stuff for those folks. Make arrangements ahead of time they will come get it. The Scooter appears well made, attactive, candy apple red, simple straight forward operation, comfortable, easy to drive, turns very well. Lights are bright, controls are very easy to understand and operate, minimal assembly. We will need to figure a way to mount the D or E cylinder of O2 as it dose not have a bracket for that, however there is a hook to hang the Inogen unit just below the handle bars. Seems to have plenty of power for hills. The charger plugs in to a port on the leg area, very easy and convenient to access. Will update as my wife uses it more. ... show more

This thing is amazing, fast, long battery life, bright lights, my only complaint is it’s tall hard to get on and off for my dad.

I use it just to scooter around my yard and around my home. I’m 70 years old can’t walk any distance to speak of before I get fatigued so this will come in very handy.

We live in the country with 20 acres, relatively flat, but some hills. This scooter eats it up. It has good handling, it has great braking when you let off the accelerator, and is perfect for my elderly father (and me!). It definitely fit our needs and is recommended for a tough, high clearance 15 mph top speed scooter. And the battery life, is so good, we have used it many, many , times, and never see it go off 100% even after hours of periodic use away from its charger. ... show more

This is Sarge and he was not getting enough exercise. I am 83 and use a walker most of the time. I ordered the scooter hoping he would be able to trot along side. He is very smart and took to it immediately. Together we go 3 miles each morning. The cart arrived in perfect condition, one day earlier than it was expected. I was surprised at how well it was protected in its shipping crate. Assembly was a snap. And it arrived with a full battery so I was able to give it a test run right away. Everyone who has seen this unit is so impressed and I am so pleased with its performance. It has ample power to climb pretty steep dirt grades. It takes corners well, is more than fast enough and carries my 234 pounds with no hesitation. Those who ask are amazed that I did not spend MUCH MORE than my cost. This is an excellent investment and I plan to use it year around. That is saying something as we live in Idaho. If you are looking for a really nice unit, THIS IS THE ONE I RECOMMEND. ... show more

I've seen comments about difficulty un-crating this cart. I am 77, recovering from a broken foot and had the crate tore down in less than 15 minutes. On the cardboard shipping container it tells you to remove the 10mm bolts, then the wires securing the wheels. That's it, un-crated. The delay movement is a bit annoying. Once you rotate the throttle, there is a delay before it begins to move. The scooter is beautifully finished. It seems very well constructed, no loose areas at all. The rear view mirrors were difficult to get started, turning a cooked shaft into a screw hole, an not over tightening. The steering radius is not great and can easily get you into tight spots. One recommended improvement would be to add a hitch point to add garden carts. Another suggestion would be to make a zero turn model. Will up date if other things show yo. So far am pleased. Update: Photo added. Basket was added as this cart is mostly used for gardening. ... show more

Works better than advertised, keeps on going up hill down hill, on problem if get wheel in but or off sidewalk won't climb back on have to lift wheel back on surface. Don't be scared is great product battery on charge last long time also while sitting holds charge wont drain.

I have been homebound for over a year and my wife encouraged me to buy this scooter. It has been a game-changer! We live in a retirement community and since getting this scooter I have been able to ride all over our park and it has made all the difference in the world. I've gotten many comments from people who are "jealous". The speed and power are excellent, hills no problem and it is comfortable. The packaging was amazing and a handyman who lives in our park came to take the packaging (skid and good angle iron) and gave us some work in return.
