I’m really impressed with the GMWD Chest Press Machine. Overall, this machine is smooth, solid, and genuinely a joy to use. The independent converging arms feel great during presses and allow for a very natural range of motion. Once set up, it feels sturdy and well-built, and it’s an excellent addition to a home gym for chest, shoulders, and even some ab work. There were a couple of minor downsides, but nothing that ruined the experience. Some of the arms arrived with dents, and the box didn’t include assembly instructions. That said, customer service was excellent — they quickly provided the instructions so I could start assembling right away and also offered a partial refund for the cosmetic damage, which I really appreciated. The pop pins can be a bit stiff to pull out at times, but for the price point and overall quality, it’s a small trade-off. All things considered, this machine delivers great value for the money. It performs smoothly, feels durable, and is backed by responsive customer support. I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home gym without breaking the bank.

I wanted to come by and leave a review after having this equipment for over a year. As a 40+ year old active man, I grew sick and tired of the crowded gyms along with young kids sitting on equipment and “influencers” 🤦🏼 in the way. Also, I couldn’t bench press as heavily as before because of shoulder problems. Many reasons being, I decided to build my own mini gym. This piece of equipment has been an AMAZING investment. Able to do an assortment of workouts on it and has been an absolute game changer. If you are like me and looking to do the same but never know what to expect and what is reliable, trust me, this is the way to go. Very sturdy, reliable and if taken care of and not throwing weights on and off recklessly or with excessive force, this machine will last you a long time I can tell! It’s been a blessing using this with every workout in some capacity aside from leg workouts obviously. Also, this review is not incentivized in any way, it seems like so many products are anymore, but this is not. This review is my way of helping anyone looking for something that will change their way of Keeping healthy and active each and every day! 💪 Let’s go!!

Edit: I am changing my 4 star to a 5 star. I reached out to the company concerning the missing handle sleeve. They immediately got back to me and assured me that they would send the sleeve right away. I received the sleeve a couple weeks later. Happy customer and happy with the workouts I have gotten with the chest press machine. Good quality and suitable for home gym. Easy to put together and a space saver. Great for the price. Unfortunately it came with only one handle sleeve. I reached out to the company and they said they would send one out. This was weeks ago and I haven't received a tracking confirmation as promised.

I already have a good Smith Machine in my home gym, but I find that incline bench presses on the Smith hurt my shoulders (I do perform decline bench presses on the Smith without issues). I purchased this chest press machine from GMWD hoping to continue to build my upper/mid pectorals without injuring my shoulders in the process. Delivery: The machine arrived in perfect shape and I had no issues. It came right to my garage door. The shipping box was robust (heavy cardboard) and well sealed (strapping and heavy-duty tape)- no notable tears or holes. Unpacking: The machine inside of the box was thoughtfully packaged and took mere minutes to unpack and carry to my gym location. No parts were damaged in transit. Assembly: This machine was exceedingly easy to assemble with just a few tools and took me less than one hour in total to assemble (probably closer to 45 minutes). There were no problems - instructions were straightforward. Floorspace: The compact design of the GMWD Chest Press Machine takes up minimal valuable real estate in my home gym. I absolutely love that the full-length padded bench folds up off of the floor when not in use! This feature makes such a huge difference in reducing the machine's footprint - awesome! Quality and Construction: The chest press machine is attractively finished, looks great, and is rigid and sturdy. I am about 6 feet tall and 230lbs; I feel 100% secure while on this machine. There is no wobbling or creaking - solidly built. Using the GMWD Chest Press Machine: The machine is easy to load with weights. Getting under the lift handles is a breeze as they are supported by adjustable arms. The upward converging arc of the lifting arms is smooth and feels natural; I have not experienced any shoulder pain while performing chest presses! I love that I can exhaustively work my pecs without a spotter or any concern that I may aggravate my rotator cuffs. I feel significantly more taxing of my pectorals when performing converging chest presses using this machine versus bar bench presses. I am expecting great results in the coming months! Further, I like the plate storage spindles at the rear of the machine so I can park my weights locally after I finish my chest workout. I look forward to using this machine on chest day! Customer Service: I had a small issue with one of the parts being drilled incorrectly. I messaged GMWD here on Amazon and they promptly got back to me. They went out of their way to replace the part swiftly. They were kind and professional. I received the replacement part, and my chest press machine is now perfect! Value: This machine is a bargain at the current price. It amazes me that I can get a piece of equipment on this level at this price in 2024!! I highly recommend GMWD and this chest press machine.

Pros: super easy to put together by yourself, though expect about 2 hours of time. Have an adjustable wrench and a socket handy. Sturdy, well made. the range of motion is exactly what i want and is a really unique take on a bench press, far better than the seated ones or using a smith machine. I'm in my 40's and still have the brain of a 25 year old lifter and I like that its a really safe way to lift heavier when i'm solo 285lbs felt stable! I have not tried decline, but really never liked decline benching so I don't think i'll mess with that. It's also very functional for shrugs, which IMO should be called out on the listing! The angle is perfect for them. Lastly it really takes up very little space. By flipping the bench upward it further saves space when not in use. Very small footprint. I'm beyond happy that something like this was available for the price range, and if I elect to add any other piece of equipment, I will be checking this company out.

No complaints on this one at all. Of course for the price I don’t expect this machine to be strong enough to survive a nuclear bomb lol. You can move the arms to the sides if you put strength on it and could possibly bend it, but who the heck works out like that??😂 gotta go read a book if you somehow break this machine. This machine is fantastic, it holds so much weight and really hits the pectorals. There are many levels to the protective bars to lay the arms in once you’re finished working out. You will NEVER need a spotter with this. The machine is very comfortable while working out and is very easy to use and understand. There were no missing parts at all and assembly was very easy with easy to read instructions. I was able to adapt to this machine very quick and easy and you can actually do many exercises with it. I use it for bench pressing and then to work out my back as well. Versatility is good
