UPDATED REVIEW: The mfg contacted me after my original review regarding kinks. They offered full money back or a replacement hose. I chose to try a new hose and received the replacement today. Excellent service and response. This hose came factory boxed with an obvious point to begin removing the coiled hose. After letting rhe hose heat up in the sun for a couple of hours, it was very simple to work the hose out of the box without kinks this time. Excellent product and assume the first hose was defective. Very pleased with company and product. ORIGINAL REVIEW: WORLD CLASS KINKS. I've never purchased a decent garden hose that had so many annoying kinks RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. After allowing the sun to warm up the unpackaged but unwrapped hose, I began the somewhat tedious chore of "unwinding" the 100' Gorilla Hose. Kinks began showing up within about 8' of the hose. The hose was packaged to be pulled from the center and that's what I did. But the kinks began coming about every 12-18" length for the entire length of the garden hose - save about 5' at the sprayer connection end of the hose. Ridiculous ... I tried all the tricks I've used for kinky hoses before - none worked. I finally managed to get the hose unkinked and am trying to save it by keeping water in it and winding into our garden hose reel. Will see if that helps - but once a hose is kinked, it seems to never go away. Other than that - a very nice hose, medium duty quality but a kinked hose like this is useless. Very disappointed.

I bought this hose after trying to find a good one at our local hardware stores...yes, several stores did not have a good "rubber" hose for a fair price. This hose, while not all rubber, is very flexible and has not bent and kinked like so many non-rubber hoses tend to do. The hoses that have a plastic feel to them are constantly getting kinks in them and are very hard to roll up without using a mechanical hose caddy. I'd buy this again!

While is was visiting family, I was asked to water the plants. They had one of these garden hoses. I was amazed at how lightweight and yet sturdy it was. I installed it the weekend and it did not disappoint. Hoping it turns out to be durable too.

This hose worked great to connect my reel box to me water connection on the side of the home. The metal connectors on both sides are strong and durable. The hose feels like it is made of strong material with the hybrid rubber / polymer compound, and so far it hasn't shown any leaks or signs of wear and tear after a week of use. This hose has female connectors on both sides, and although I didn't use this feature, you can apparently cut the hose to the exact needed length and then readjust the end connector for a custom length. The 24 month warranty is also a great feature. The hose is rated for 600 burst psi, which is also ideal for my home since we bypassed the pressure regulator on the connection where this hose is used. Great product and design by Giraffe Tools!
