This hose has turned out to be one of the best I have used. It didn't start out that way, first one leaked really bad at connection when hooked up for the first time, but Amazon replaced it quickly. Probably a manufacturing defect. 🤷♀️The new one is working great, and we are happy with the flexibility. It is pretty lightweight which I like since I am a grandma at get aggravated when having to fight with a kinky hose! 😉 We live in Nevada and the weather here can be unkind to hoses, so I always take that into account when dealing with some of the issues. Heat will soon be on, and I am hoping this one will hold up in the sun. I have it on the outdoor hose holder in the shaded area now, but it will be used a lot stretched out to the garden where it will be left during the day. So, I will update my review if there are any issues. So far I recommend this hose.

Lightweight and easy to use

This Giraffe Tools 304 Stainless Steel 100 ft x 3/4" Garden Hose is my 7th stainless hose. I've replaced all my rubber hoses with stainless steel ones and I believe this hose is one of the better ones. The aluminum copper plated connectors are very nice! The hose comes with a heavy duty, ergonomic nozzle with 9 different spray patterns (shower, vertical, angle, center, mist, flat, soaker, cone, and rinse), 3/4" aluminum plated copper on/off valve with an extra rubber washer, plumber's tape and 3 extra rubber hose washers. Unrolling this hose takes a bit of time but once that's done, it never kinks or gets crushed. It is so lightweight for the length and the main reason I've replaced my rubber hoses with stainless steel ones. These hoses also always look great even when they're no longer new! This Giraffe Tools hose is the replacement for a 50' stainless hose I have that wasn't long enough for my needs. There are a couple drawbacks to these stainless steel hoses. Care needs to be taken not to pull too hard on these hoses, stretching them, otherwise the PVC inner tube will pull away from the connector. It also happens if the water is left on without the hose running. These two situations will break the hose causing it to be worthless because there is no fix. I know this from personal experience and from a durability standpoint this is where these hoses can't compete with rubber/vinyl ones. The stainless steel hoses need to be improved upon so those situations either don't happen or at the very least are repairable. This Giraffe Tools hose is the first stainless steel hose that I know of that the manufacturer offers a 24 month warranty which is so valuable and the reason I gave 5 stars!
