    • Works well with my patio heater.
My patio heater will light again! Installation was easy. I had to make a few modifications. This thermocouple is thinner than my original, and I had to use two washers on it. The size of the hole it was mounted through was larger than the size of the nuts that hold it in place. Easy fix for that. The tilt switch is also larger than my original, and if attached to the same holes as the original would not have worked, because the switch would have been tilted. You need to check orientation of your switch to be sure than it is installed the proper way up. Luckily for me, my old switch was good, so I didn't replace it and no modification needed to be done. Be sure to check if your old thermocouple is threaded, some are not. ... show more
