I bought this almost two months ago, just now getting to this review as it changed from 5 star, to 4 star, back to 5 star! I bought this for a 2018 Honda Ridgeline. Originally when I mounted this, the driver side rail was just a little long. After several email exchanges, customer support sent a replacement rail with correct measurements. I also noticed a design flaw. The Honda Ridgeline tailgate opens as a regular tailgate and also as a door from the right (passenger) side. From the original design, the release for the cover is on the left (driver) side...the same side that the hinge for the tailgate door is located. When you open the tailgate as a door, the release for the cover is not accessible. You can only release the cover when the tailgate is open as a traditional truck. If the cover lock/release hardware is mounted on the passenger side rail, the release is accessible when opening the tailgate as a traditional tailgate AND as a door. Since I had an additional rail, I was able to mount that cover lock hardware on the passenger side and it works great! Truxedo - Please pass this suggestion to your engineers. Please see attached photos to help explain. One picture is before I moved the hardware, one is after I moved the hardware, and the other is from your original design where the hardware is mounted at the hinge of the tailgate. Final thoughts on this product: Definitely worth the money! I am very pleased with the quality of the product, design (except for noted), customer service and ease of installation. I suggest a second person to assist with installation to hold rail secure when initially mounting. Truxedo provides additional mounts custom designed for the Ridgeline. Cover does a great job to hold out water from truck bed. We have had several heavy rains and no leaks detected, though most valuables I place inside the cab for security. ... show more

Fits my 2022 Ridgeline like a glove and looks great. Very easy to install, but the truck-specific instructions did not mention the weatherstripping, but the "next steps" do. So I had to take it out, put in the weatherstripping, and reinstall. Even still it only took a bit over 30 minutes to put in. You almost can't mess up rolling it out or back, even if it's just you working on one side. It's about 99.99% rainproof, a couple big storms have gotten a small amount of water in the bed but nothing concerning to the cargo. The rails are recessed but do affect the opening of the trunk to about 75-80%. Plenty enough to get stuff in and out of the trunk and get the spare out, but not fully open. Also, the unlock lever is on the driver side and you can really only unlock the cover with the tailgate is down, not opened to the side. Update: You can change the latch from the left to the right rail very easily. For Ridgeline owners, the right side has a little less room than the left but is accessible when you open the tailgate like a door. ... show more

Bought this cover for my 2023 Honda Ridgeline. I decided on a soft cover for full use of the bed. The cover was delivered early and well packaged. Installation took around an hour taking my time. If you are comfortable with basic tools you should be alright installing this cover. I like many others switched the latching mechanism to the passenger side rail. This just makes sense and I don’t understand why Truxedo doesn’t do it during manufacturing. I think the cover looks great. It is easy to use. It is quiet on the highway. I haven’t had to make any tension adjustments. I do get some leaking around the sides in the rain. Not enough to even form a puddle. So far I have been very happy. ... show more

Ok, I just installed this Truxedo LoPro cover on my 2011 Honda Ridgeline (gen1) and I wanted to share this info even though it's an old truck. I recently found a need to add a cover to the bed, and since finding a new vehicle is next to impossible without paying over retail, I'm getting all I can out of this truck. I will say the finished product looks great and seems very well made (time will tell and I will update "value" and "durability" in the future. The install was pretty straight forward and I will say that the vendor added a sheet with specific instructions and pics for installing on a Gen 1 Ridgeline, which was great. It was not without moments of extreme sweat and minor frustration trying to get the bolts in on the side rails. There are foam pieces on the rails (and one you need to add to the tie-down holes) that get in the way, so you have to maneuver around them to get the bolts started - took some time, but worked, and the foam seems to be helpful with the seal. I did have a friend assist by holding the rails in place but I'm sure you could do this alone. Once installed, the adjustment to the cover is pretty simple. A few twists of the screw bolt and it locked nice and tight. Total install time about 50 minutes. I added pics of the Velcro side seal - I didn't have any issue with the sides being too short as I saw at least one review that stated that. Also, pics of the back tailgate seal and bulkhead seal - both seem pretty darned good. I added pics of the trunk open with and without the cover pulled back - there is plenty of access, so no issue at least for me there. All in all, I'm quite pleased with the look and operation; time will tell if it can stand up to the elements and heavy usage.
