I liked this brand ever since someone recommended it to me. I've continued to use this for a couple of years now. I don't think I'll be trying other brands. The only bad thing I can think of for this hair dye is that it doesn't seem to last long. It must be my hair though because it turns "silver"/ white too fast. It's okay. I like to have to change my hair color once in a while... sometimes. Heh. Scent isn't strong at all and it is quite nice. It doesn't stain when I'm waiting for the magic to happen. I'm very happy with this hair dye. Thank you!!!

This stuff is absolutely amazing. I’ve repurchased this product again and again. I have naturally very dark brown hair, that’s thick and wavy. I do color treat my hair with box dye to cover greys because I’m cheap, impatient, and I like doing self care on my own time at home. Do not expect to go 5-7 levels lighter if you have dark hair like me, but it may lift a level or 2 lighter to a coppery reddish shade, dependent on what color you’re applying over. I am always left with sunkissed, subtle highlights that become lighter over time. It lifts extremely evenly and it’s not runny at all. I have included pics of my hair blow dried and air dried/ in artificial and natural light so that you can see the dimension I am able to create at home. I have used this product with foils and without foils and honestly, I am not left with zebra stripes which is a win in my book.

I am lucky enough that my stylist will apply this professionally in the salon. But even if you do it yourself its a good vegan alternative. It's really tough to find this color in shops - so even though I had to wait a bit for it to arrive, it was worth it. I'm an old goth girl, this colors my greys, smells nice, isn't runny and thin. And I love the color - it's really a perfect black for when you don't want to do the blue-black.

I used 6.6 Light Intense Auburn. For reference I have light brown hair. This is supposed to make it bright red. I haven’t used this type of dye before, but have used many types and brands over the years, those with ammonia and those without, permanent and semi permanent. On my hair I had fuschia under the top layers. The top layer had been dyed with a bright red from Revlon Colorsilk, which worked well. Then I had at least 2 inches of growth, which is where I used this color. The first huge issue with this is the packaging design. It’s unnecessarily large and bulky, which isn’t very environmentally friendly. Everything is plastic. The developer, bottle to mix and the plastic is slippery. Once you’ve struggled getting everything into the mixing bottle without tipping it over (the shape makes it easily tippable), you’re required to shake it with your finger over the end. If you’ve made the mistake of getting any of the product on your gloves while trying to mix it, it makes it impossible to hold on to the applicator bottle. And because of its shape and material it is incredibly easy to drop. My hair felt pretty rough after washing out the color, but the conditioner they include is really good. Results are mixed. The color isn’t very red or bright. The back didn’t seem to take well at all. I usually get good coverage with almost all dyes. Personally, I wouldn’t get this ammonia free again, there are others that work much better.

I like this rich color. I bought 4.62 Dark Garnet Red and it looks awesome so far. The foto is taken right after I dyed my hair. I like red undertone but I also like that it's not bloody red. Exactly what I wanted. The mixture is pretty liquidy.
