I bought this machine to replace a Breville machine that died after 10 years of excellent use. At first I replaced it with a Gaggia machine but little plastic bits of it kept breaking, so I sent it back. So I bought this inexpensive machine based on the reviews and because it's cute. I've had it for about 8 months now. Overall I'm impressed. It works well, it's easy to use and simple. The four switches are easy to figure out. The quality of the coffee is good and it wasn't difficult to get the amount of grounds correct. The switches feel solid but the plastic shell is a little on the flimsy side (this would be better made of metal, IMHO.) It's also quite light, so it can take two hands to push the handle into place when you're loading it. But it's an excellent value and looks stylish. It doesn't take up a large amount of space on my counter, either. All the bits come off, so I can just stick them in the dishwasher. All in all, an excellent value. Recommended. ... show more

It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I’ve had it for about a month, and while it is absolutely gorgeous…the pressure is so inconsistent I have wasted so much coffee that I can’t stand it. We buy premium espresso beans and for one week straight we were able to get the correct pressure and that just-right espresso. Most of the time it doesn’t get any, or very little pressure. So unfortunately, I had to give it 2 stars. That’s a 1 for looks alone, and 1 for the 1% of the time it gets it right on the first try. Even weighing the coffee out and (trust me) putting plenty of pressure when tamping the grounds down, it just doesn’t pressure up like it should. Bought for the looks in spite of the negative reviews citing the same issue, hoping mine would be one of the good ones. I won’t do that again. :( ... show more

I can’t tell you how much I wanted this to be the “one”. On the plus side it is absolutely beautiful and seems well made. On the minus side it just couldn’t make a decent shot. I tried everything…different beans, different grinder, triple grinding, and 0 froth each time. It could be that my machine was faulty but I hesitate to try another. I would have appreciated some help or advice from the manufacturer but there appeared to be no way to get it. So, I’m on the hunt again. ... show more

Super cute and compact! Makes a great pull of espresso once you have your machine and grinder dialed appropriately. I don't typically use the auto brew function but it is very convenient to not have to stand by the machine to stop the pull if I am having a rushed morning. There is a bit of a learning curve, even if you have had an espresso machine before. I have my Neretva grinder set to 5 and for me the perfect amount of espresso beans is 19.4 grams for the double shot portafilter. Overall I love this machine, it works great and I can easily customize my coffee to my preference daily. I use Peet's French Roast (dark roast, truffle chocolate notes and so perfect for a mocha latte) As of now, no leaks. It has a basket to catch extra water and I empty and rinse that every other day. I bought the Neretva grinder to match but the grinder misses the mark (very messy, full of static, ground beans fly everywhere and make a mess no matter how careful you are so I started grinding my beans into a tall cup then transferring to my portafilter) and the reviews are turned off for the grinder so I can't share anywhere but here... and maybe Tiktok. ... show more
