I love this hair color! I do need to leave it on an extra 10 minutes or so to cover grey hair but it’s worth it not to deal with the strong ammonia odor of other hair colors. It is also less damaging to hair than other colors.

TLDR: NOT as pink/dark as I thought, but I really like it! Also, use 2 bottles if you have longish hair! So I started off with brunette (my natural) roots that was ombréd to a warm medium blonde at the ends. So first off I bleached it to get an overall warm blonde, let it rest for a few days, bleached again to get closer to a warm platinum, rested a few days, toned to get to a more neutral base, then dyed. It took me about 30 minutes to get the dye applied and then I left it for about 40 minutes to process. At the end of application, I was super close to running out, so if you have hair aaaany longer or thicker than mine, you definitely want to use 2 boxes for 1 application! Also, a word to the wise- any inconsistencies in bleaching or toning show!! I have patches that are warmer than others because my base color was inconsistent. Thankfully I don’t really care that much, but I know some people would. The color went on white/clear, turned a deep pink (“dark quartz”, anyone?) and when washed out (without shampoo the first time!) faded to a really soft pink. Not like the pictures at all. Maybe I didn’t leave it to process long enough, who knows. So if you’re going for dark pink, maybe try leaving it a lot longer than 40 minutes? Overall the product is great, just didn’t exactly give me what I thought I was getting 😜 ... show more
