The media could not be loaded. I bought this as a replacement for my old shredder (not the same brand) I had for many years that was just too worn out to work anymore. Think it lasted 10 years. Right out of the box this one was easy to assemble. I had quite a stack of stuff to get rid of as you can see. Shredded it no problem non-stop for nearly a hour. My old one would have over heated withing10-15 minutes. And yes in the video I am shoving 15 sheets of paper into it. Again that is impressive because every shredder I have owned before this one has never measured up. My last one was rated for 8, I was lucky if I could feed 5 with out a jam, and forget credit cards, thought it was supposed to shred those too. Only had it over load one time from me accidentally feeding to many sheets. Shredder auto reversed and I was able to clear the jam with ease. Oh yeah, some of the stuff even had staples. Not just those little ones, but large binding staples. Chewed them up like a goat. Not even fazed. Unlike other brands I have owned, this one has a cooling fan for the motor. Normally I'm not running a shredding marathon, but I had about 6 months of stuff piled up before buying a new machine. I would say this one has earned its recommendation. ... show more

    • DOES NOT WORK FROM THE MOMENT IT ARRIVED
I recently purchased Bonsaii 15-Sheet Office Paper Shredder from Amazon for my office needs, and unfortunately, it has been nothing but a disappointment from the very start. Upon receiving the product, I eagerly unpacked it and assembled it as per the instructions, only to find that it simply refused to turn on. Despite numerous attempts to troubleshoot and make it operational, it remained stubbornly unresponsive. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has severely hindered my ability to efficiently manage sensitive documents in my workplace. The sheer disappointment of investing in a product that fails to function properly right out of the box is truly disheartening. In all honesty, I cannot recommend this paper shredder to anyone based on my own firsthand experience. It's been a complete letdown, and I regret the decision to purchase it. Moving forward, I will be wary of similar products and will certainly seek out more reliable alternatives. Overall, this has been a negative and regrettable experience, and I sincerely hope others can learn from my unfortunate encounter and avoid similar disappointments in the future. ... show more

    • Great Shredder, Very Quiet
I love this shredder. It’s very quiet and shreds 15 sheets with staples without problem. I’ve only used it for about 10 minutes at a time continuously, but have had no problems with it. It’s so easy to dump the bin once it’s full. It’s one of my favorite Amazon purchases; I’m very happy with it.

This shredder works great, but it doesn’t keep running in between putting paper in it stops and you have to get it to start again, not a big thing but if you are doing lots of shredding it will slow it down some. Nice big bin for shedded paper, I haven’t had it overheat, I have found it does about 4 to 6 pages easy. I haven’t pushed it to do more than that at a time. ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY !!!! 2 WERE DEAD ON ARRIVAL !!!!!
1st = Received it. Assembled it. Turned the switch to Auto. Power light came on + shut off. It wouldn't accept a sheet of paper + reverse didn't work. NO POWER !!! Exactly like another reviewer's video !!! This should of Never left the factory !!! Returned for Replacement. 2nd = Same Exact Problem !!! This one also has a small piece of plastic, or something inside, that I can hear rattling around when I tilt it around. The tape on the box was from 2 different tape dispensers....... Different type of clear tape, with different size teeth cutting it. So.... ???? So ..... I don't know if this is a resold defective item or not. Hmmm. Either way, 2 of the exact same products, with the same problem, to the same person...... NOT HAPPY,.... AT ALL !!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!!! Amazon should not sell these....... I am Returning for my $$$ Back ....... And NEVER, Purchasing a Bonsaii Product Again, because of these, TWO, experiences. ... show more

    • Much quieter than our previous shredder
It does what it says I haven't tested it for 15 pages yet but I'm impressed how much quieter it is compared to our previous shredder that we had for a decade If this thing last as long it will be worth the money I like the 40 minute duty cycle too Our previous shredder I had to wait for it to cool off after maybe 10 minutes and would sometimes put a small fan blowing on it to extend run time Assembly was super easy on this shredder as most are only a few steps If you want a quieter shredder get this one ... show more

    • Quiet and met expectations
This shredder is much quieter than a strip shredder I purchased about 10 years ago. You can easily have a conversation while it runs. I had accumulated the equivalent of about 3 reams that needed to be shred and this machine got it done. That much shredding nearly filled a 96 gallon trash can. (Our city won't take shredded paper in recycling.) That surprised me as I thought the waste from a P4 shredder would not fluff up so much. Seemed like the bin had to be emptied about every 50-60 pages. With this machine I can keep up with household needs and not accumulate any longer. I recommend this shredder. ... show more
