If you follow the directions, like don't use any product in your hair (I let mine get like I had been at the beach all day) x 2 days with no shampoo/conditioner. It can be hard to get the conditioner out of the bottle, but a little goes a long way, so what I did is used half and half. Half in my hair the first time, added water to the second half for a few days down the line. I normally use the Garnier that comes in a green box. I think it's green anyway. Anyway, it has a terrible ammonia smell that I hate. This dye does is ammonia free and left my hair feeling nice and soft afterwards. The color itself is okay. It looks kinda purple? I normally do an R6 but wanted something darker. It's dark purple, love it. My hair is still super soft. As you can see in the first picture,I already had my hair dyed brown before so my ends are dyed twice and still super soft. I would totally recommend.

My main complaint directly after using the dye & the conditioner, was that my hair still felt greasy even after I rinsed it well. My last cut and color was $150. This product is good, No irritation to the scalp. For the small hairs, it's not getting into the hair because its very much liquid like any other hair color. A waiting time of 20 mins is not always good enough even for short hair men. It needs more than that.

Me either until I found this. My hair turned out great and I couldn't be happier with the results! I needed more than 2 boxes, thick hair about mid back for length. I was terrified of hair breaking or just clumps falling out, nothing! No burn, no awful smell! It brought my awful colored hair down from who only knows with all the color in my it, about 5 shades lighter, another reason I needed more, I did back to back bleaching because I needed more lift.
