    • Color doesn’t mix anymore
Color: 22 Intense Blue Black (Mulberry)
I’ve been using this product for over a decade with no issues. However, since they changed the model on the box, it seems to be a different formula. (For reference, I use 22 Blue Black). The tube refuses to mix with the developer and looks like clumps of dried up white toothpaste. I’ve tried shaking it, warming the bottle, everything. This happened with my last 3 attempts, and I won’t be buying this product again. The only way I was able to even get the color out of the bottle was to take the cap off and dump it in a bowl, then apply it with gloved hands. I’ve seen other recent reviews with others having the same issue. I noticed the color doesn’t last as long either (I only use it to touch up roots and eyebrows). I tried a box from Target as well - same issue. So this is something with Garnier. Disappointed this happened, I’ve been a loyal customer since 2008. Now I have to find another brand. ... show more

I have used this product for 12 years they have changed something in the formula that it is not coming out to the results I'm used to. The first picture shows the color of it when it IS shook up. The second picture shows you the results the third picture I have is the results it's supposed to have so now I go to Sally's beauty supply and purchase the inspired by nature hair dye and plum color with a 21 developer I have called them and told them and they said they have not changed anything but yes they have something's wrong do not buy this if you want the dark burgundy purple color because it will come out a dark terracotta orange. I have canceled my subscription due to this. I was very disappointed and embarrassed to walk around like this that i had to re-dye my hair. ... show more

I have used many brands of over the counter hair color, and have loved several brands- but always come back to this one! Its easy to use, and doesn't have an overpowering scent! I generally wash my hair every 3 days, and my hair grows pretty quickly due to being on high dose iron, but my color still last around 2 months! I have mid length of the back hair!
