We purchased this bike rack to carry our ebikes on the back of our RV. Many other racks we looked at indicated they should not be used on an RV but this one said it could be used on an RV so we selected this one. When we received it, it appeared to be very well built and heavy duty. It fit perfectly in the 2" receiver on the back of our RV and we were able to adjust the rack to accomodate our two ebikes very nicely. I liked that it came equiped with locking latches so the bikes could be locked onto the rack and the rack could be locked into the receiver for security. No need to use a chain or cable to lock it up. We used the bike rack on a few long road trips and the rack worked great. Unfortunately, on our last trip to Yosemite the latch that releases the rack so it can be swung down, broke and we had to secure the rack with tie down straps to get home. I emailed customer service and included some pictures of the broken part and within a few days they were sending me a new bike rack. Now that is great customer service! I was disipointed that the rack failed which I believe was probably a fluke but the great customer service makes up for the problem we had and I would still recommend it. ... show more

Well constructed and straightforward, easy assembly. I looked a long time for a rack that would handle our heavier e-bikes AND be usable on our RV. Most I found could handle the weight (150 lbs w/o the battery) but didn't find many that were recommended for RV use.. I guess the issue with RV use is the bounce because of mounting so far back from the rear RV tires. The advertised description on Amazon specifically said it was acceptable to use on an RV. However, when I received the rack, the written directions from the manufacturer stated "not to use on an RV" Well, that was concerning !! So, there is a counterdiction between Amazon and the manufacturer. In any event, I decided to try it because of its' solid, heavy duty construction. The first time I used it, did extra strapping from the RV's hitch receiver. Also, added extra straps around each bike wheel and the rack wheel cradles. Traveled about 250 miles and there were no problems. (Very minimal bounce according the the person following me) and our bikes arrived at our destination in good shape. Really like the tilt feature of the rack, and its' locking security features. Would recommend the rack for heavier bikes. ... show more

Did alot of research on this, didnt buy the cheapest or most expensive. This is exactly want i wanted after installation. Wish it came with a cover. It has a 18mm bolt that screws into hitch, not quick process to get off so prob leave attached to RV and protect from weather when not in use.

This is a good rake..not great. Locks are clumsy to use and all the sliding features do not operate smoothly, even after using WD40. I would not recommend unless you are looking for a budget rack.

Bought this item about 18 months ago. Recently, a part inside the pressure bar broke, making the bike rack unsafe. I contacted the seller to purchase the part, knowing that the one-year warranty had expired. The seller says they don't sell parts. So I am stuck with a bike rack that must be thrown away. Do yourself a favor, pay a bit more, and get a name brand like Thule or Yakima. These fly-by-night sellers don't offer product support. ... show more
