nice hose, if you need a 25' hose I would get this light blue one, it's heavy duty and doesn't kink on me. then ends are heavy duty brass. I would recommend.

In my experience, rubber hoses last longest--we have a couple that we've used for at least 25 years. However, this PVC/polymer hose is light, easy to carry and easy to roll up for storage. I suspect that the "brass" connectors are actually an aluminum alloy (scratch test reveals a silvery color), but they look solid and don't leak. We can use this 25 ft. hose as an add-on to reach the farther corners of the yard. The multi-pattern spray head is a nice bonus. It's good to have an extra one ready to go when we need it.

I would consider this more of a medium duty hose. It feels reasonably durable but is not in the realm of some of the truly heavy duty hoses I use around the farm. Currently using this in conjunction with a number of hose splitters to carry water to our greenhouse and horse tanks. Working well all summer, perfectly good hose.

The hose is as bright blue as it appears on the photographs. It is medium weight - and the surface texture almost feels like silicone -though not quite as soft. The ferules (the black plastic surround near the connectors) are very loose - and slid down while I was looking at the hose. They will not provide the protection that they should. I may use silicone glue to fix them in place - but a new hose should not need to be altered to use. The spray nozzle is light weight and virtually all plastic. It is too big for my hand so I will probably not be able to use it. I do appreciate the extra rubber washers that were included.
