I have only used this water hose one time, but I was so happy that it did not kink up on me. And, I love the sprayer that comes with the hose. When I finished watering my plants, the hose was really easy to wrap back around the hanger.

I selected this Floral Drip hose in a 100 foot length to use for watering the furthest corners of my lawn. This is not my first metallic hose of this general style, I liked a previous shorter one and all the attributes that come with a metal hose: They are easy to handle because they are lighter in weight and have very little memory issues when coiling. Further, the silver reflective nature helps keep the water cool, and doesn’t burn the grass the same way a rubber hose does when left in the sun. They even tangle less as they are slippery in comparison to rubber or vinyl hoses that drag over each other. So I’ve become a convert, despite the usual shortcoming of the style: A slightly smaller hose inner diameter that means you’ll get a little less throughput. That’s a factor sometimes and a consideration. Anyway, this particular hose has all of those attributes, good and bad. Specifically, though, this hose offers an included nozzle. While appreciated and lightweight, it’s all plastic (including the handle and connection point, see photo) so I don’t expect it to hold up under rough use. The hose has what is basically plastic sleeves on either end to act as strain relief (see other photo with one of them unscrewed a bit). On better hoses, this sleeve is designed to also give you a large, comfortable handle that screws or unscrews the hose. This particular model has a somewhat narrow brass ring to tighten. In all fairness though, I tried it only hand-tightened on the faucet and nozzle ends, and there was no leaking. One more concern is that the measured length of this hose was 95 feet, not 100. Yes, I measured. 🙂 This is a decent choice. Not the absolute best I’ve used, but no serious drawbacks either unless you really needed that last 5 feet.
