I love the ease and weight of this hose. I used it on the porch to water potted plants. It was not in a location where I had to move it around or drag it frequently but about 2 weeks of use and the hose had multiple leaks. I’ve tried many different brands of expanding hoses and have yet to find one with any durability. I didn’t expect much considering the price of the hose, but I thought it would last more than a couple of weeks.

the photos are very misleading. They show it in a perfect coil which leads one to believe it's a coil hose but after the first time you uncoil it, it never goes back to that. I prefer a coil hose since it stays neater and is not going to be in the way when not in use.. Just seems like a bit of false advertising, but it otherwise, works fine so far.

This is my first expandable hose so I don’t really have a frame of comparison. That being said I live on an average size residential lot. My backyard is bigger and I have a regular hose and reel for that. I use this primarily in the front. I like it because when the water is off it’s not too long and it’s stores nicely. I use it for the flowerbeds the bushes and cleaning things up. I must say that this is a very convenient piece of gear for what it is. It’s lightweight and in the winter I can put it in the garage and it doesn’t take up a bunch of space. Obviously this is not the same as a regular hose. I’m not gonna use it for the power washer or something like that.

It’s a big black hose. It gets bigger when you turn it on. It gets smaller once it’s discharged. The head is lightweight but works well. It’s not the size of the head that matters, but the pattern of the spray. And this sprays very well. I wasn’t buying for the nozzle, but I have it and it works pretty well. The fittings are brass. Has an extra shutoff on the brass nozzle connector. I guess that’s hand if you want to swap out attachments without killing the spigot. Not much more to say.
