I love it. It doesn’t get “wet” like some of the fabric ones. It doesn’t kink. It doesn't shrink and expand, it stays the same size. It is lightweight but sturdy. It has a long length that is easy to reel in compared to rubber or fabric. I would buy another as a gift, thats how good it is. Small and workable flaws considering frustration with rubber and fabric. One problem is that the connectors are kind of cheap. They do not leak, they are just made with a thinner metal. It does not bend if you push on it, but could bend with pliers or channel lock though. A small and workable issue. The other one is that you have to use a washer or it leaks. They include the washer. I cant complain compared to everything I have tried in the past few years. I think I paid $40, if it dies this year… $40 well spent.

This is not a rubber hose, so if you're looking for that please move on. However, this is a really good hose. It's lightweight, seems very durable and is definitely Kink resistant. I replaced a hose that I had a fight with all the time to get the kinks out then to roll it up and it was very heavy. I'm very happy with this purchase and it was definitely a good value!

Well, there are things to like about this hose, the weight and flexibility. BUT it leaks even with a washer inside the hook up points. It came with additional plastic washers but I think I'm going to have to buy some rubber washers to see if they will work to seal the connection so that it doesn't leak at both the water connection point and the point where the handheld sprayer connects.

It meets every criteria that you would expect in a hose. Keep in mind, however, the brass colored fittings are aluminum and not brass. Therefore, there may be a shorter life. Also, I have a pretty small hand and find that using the turn on and turn off lever requires both my hands but I'm getting used to it and it's not an issue. Just not quite as convenient. That said there's a whole lot of choices in the spray delivery which is actually better than the last one I had. So all in all, I would probably buy this again. It seems pretty sturdy although my squirrels are trying very hard to put a hole through this one like they did my last one. This was one of the cheapest I could find because I didn't want to spend a lot on a squirrel toy There is one other thing that I kind of miss. My last one was expandable and this one is not. Because it's sturdy it's a little harder to curl up into the bucket where I keep it but that wouldn't discourage me from buying it again. Happy camper.
