These are no the expandable hoses. These are lightweight hoses with a cloth jacket. They don't kink like traditional hoses, and much easier wind and unwind. I haven't had any issues with the connectors, unlike expandable hoses which always fail. I highly recommend everyone to update their existing hoses to this design.
