Our 20 year old garden hose was at end of life. I never bought a hose via the internet before but read reviews and decided this should work. Upon arrival I was surprised at how light is was, yet it seemed well made. I unwrapped the hose straightened out any curls, twists in it and attached to the faucet and nozzle. Turned on the water, No leaks just a nice strong pressure coming out of the nozzle, perfect for rinsing a sudsy car. As a bonus this hose was about 3 ft longer than the 50ft hose I replaced. So reaching the back of our cars when washing them is much easier now. Hose is very easy to maneuver and very light compared to our old hose. Probably won't get 20 years out of it but it should last for several. ... show more

This is a good hose. It hasn't kinked once, even though I whipped this thing around the yard. It's durable and easy to move. There have been no leakage issues and the flow is good. I gave this a 4 opposed to a 5 because it seems like to be a bit more expensive than competitors.

I need two hoses for my property, so I bought this hybrid hose on Amazon because I couldn't find the Continental rubber garden hose that I have that is several years old. This hybrid hose is very disappointing. It's very thin wall and when it's dry it kinks like crazy. I'll give it a go, but I'll probably end up keeping it because it's so much trouble packaging it for return, although I don't expect it to last a year. ... show more

    • Sturdy 2-way splitters, excellent hose nozzle
The splitters are all metal, heavy and sturdy. Make sure to exercise the valves before mounting these on a spigot or such, they seem to have been coated with something (high viscosity oil, maybe) that made them very hard to move at first. I opened and closed each one once and they run smoothly now. It would have been much harder to unstick their valves when installed on a spigot, the handles are rather small and it takes quite a bit of force to get them unstuck. Once installed, the valves work as they should, when closed there is no water flow through them, and the gaskets are of good quality, no leaks. As for the hose nozzle, I never used one of this construction before. I basically chose the set for the Y-splitters. Well, the nozzle was a revelation: never got such precise control from any spraying head on a normal garden hose. Perfectly adjustable flow volume up to full pressure. The nozzle is also solidly made, all brass, with O-rings for sealing inside it, smooth thread for adjustment. Sturdy, simple and reliable construction and it works really, really well. For the price versus quality, at the time of this review this set definitely looks like a bargain. I still have to see how well each part from the set holds over time, but there’s little doubt in my mind that these will last many years. ... show more

    • It's a hose, but not a lot more

I have hoses of every type. I always will like the Dramms, and Cooper makes a pretty good all-rubber hose. But on the farm I drag hoses a lot, so I have several stainless-steel-clad hoses, but they have a small inside diameter and are limited as to how much water they can deliver. I wanted something that was cheap and might last more than a year. This seems to fit the bill. It isn't a heavy-duty hose. I know full-well what a heavy-duty hose feels like, and this isn't one. But for the price it is very reasonable. And as you get older and those hands have arthritis the handholds on the ends used for tightening the fittings are nice to have, and these work well. And the fitting are brass and work fine. But the coils are hard to remove - haven't stretched it out straight on a hot sunny day yet, so after I do that I will be able to see what kind of coil memory it has. I hope none, but I sort of doubt that. It is a serviceable hose, and for the price is good, but by no means is it a top-tier offering. ... show more

    • Nice brass fittings
These brass fittings allowed me to split my outdoor hose bib for two separate water sources. It was easy to install and the on/off valves are easy to access and work great.
