Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this pool for myself. Being a senior, I wanted something small enough to set up and to maintain, while cooling me off on hot summer days. The frame is steel, and the vinyl side is an attractive charcoal herringbone design, which in my opinion looks better than any of the blue or light gray colors of other brands. The filter/pump is perfect for this size of pool and very easy to maintain. I do wish the inner blue vinyl was a darker blue.

Only giving 4 stars because if filter issue.Fikter works could be better only because in and out water ate too close like others have said.Easy fix for company go send and outlet that shoots away from filter so water going into filter can actually filter bugs etc instead if blowing them back in pool.My solution will be to install a waterfall on spout so it's not blowing away what needs to go in filter. Also I wish the 13ftt11inch pool came bigger across the 8ft 2inch width is just a little small.10ft would have been great!Other than those issues the quality is better than 2 other brands I have bought over the years.

Worked great for a month then the pump broke. We have kept up with the maintenance of it and it just decided to quit working. Very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. I wish that I could rate this pool a 5 star but unfortunately due to the tiny skimmer as the only filtration for such a large amount of water is crazy! I have a sand filter sitting by the pool ready to go, but it seems that I will be needing a new skimmer. As another reviewer wrote, the skimmer is constantly pouring out water and doesn't have a tight seal, so it drips all the time. Edit and downgrading to 2 star: I swapped out the stock skimmer for a Hayward and it's much better at containing the water. The skimmer is very heavy to be only supported by the pool liner, building a platform for the skimmer would stabilize it even more. The intake and outlet are probably no more than 12-14" apart, pushing away debris and sunscreen away from the skimmer intake. I wish that I had inspected the setup prior to purchasing. My 14" sand filter thankfully keeps the water clean of debris, I just need to figure out the sunscreen collecting on the liner. That could be an easy fix, it's never been a problem in the past. Since I use an ionizer, I need very little chemicals. I will talk to the pool guy when I take my my water to be tested. Also, I live in MI and we just hit our first 95°+ week, and the pool water is 92°. I purchased light gray balcony screening to put around the outside to cool it down. It may be nice when our temps dip back down into the 70's at night, but it was refreshing for 1 day this week.
