  • Well made and sturdy BUT the description leaves out important details
I needed a hitch mount bike rack for 2 eBikes 60 lb each to mount on to my RV (motor home) hitch. OK, so this item is sold by a company named FulTymeRV. Their web site says "FulTyme RV brings you high quality products dedicated to meeting the everyday needs of the RV full-timer." But I take it out of the box and one of the first things the instructions say is "Do not use behind a 5th wheel, travel trailer or motor home". This is NOWHERE to be found in the Amazon product description, and also not in the description on their web site! The instructions also say "DO NOT use for Electric bicycles". Again, it doesn't say this ANYWHERE in the Amazon product description, and not in the description on their web site! But this item is for 2 bikes, and boasts a weight capacity of 200 lbs. Regular bikes weigh maybe 30-40 lbs, maybe a bit more for "mountain bikes". An eBike on the other hand, weighs anywhere from 40 to 70 lbs, typically 50-60 lbs. So WHY do they design it for 200 lbs if not for eBikes? I just think they are CYA (covering their butts). There are several reviewers saying they use it for eBikes and/or on an RV without a problem. But if you use it that way, and there is a problem, well, you were using in a way specifically against the instructions, so it's not their fault. Very deceptive! I am returning this thing and instead buying the bike rack by Arksen (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BV2MQSLP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00) that specifically says that it's for eBikes, and is compatible with RV use, which costs about the same as this FulTymeRV product. ... show more

  • High Quality
I was reluctant to purchase this because it was so much cheaper than any other bike carrier rated for 200 pounds. But I was shocked when it arrived at how high-quality it is. It was very easy to assemble. It’s easy to fold up and store away. And - most importantly – it’s easy to pop onto the car and secure my bikes onto it. I recommend this to anyone who has e-bikes or mountain bikes. ... show more

  • Great for the moneu
Hauled light my e-bikes well, they didn’t move an inch, non name brand, but would recommend, and it does tilt away from vehicle to access it

  • No Issues
Needed to take a 80-90lb ebike 65 miles had no issues round trip. On first use do a safety check after a few miles thing do settle and adjustments may be needed, at the end of the trip everything was solid no settling. I did a check on the return trip everything was solid. I like that it can be setup for one or two bikes and that it has sway prevention built in. I would have no reservations carrying two bikes. Thumbs up on the shipping was given an estimate of 5-7 days but I received it the next day. ... show more

  • 200lbs? No way!
This bike rack has potential, but its full of problems. The wheel hoops started sagging immediately after a short trip with only 30lb bikes. When I tried to tighten the wing nuts to help with the sag, the plastic wing nuts stripped out. I will probably end up welding the wheel hoops in place. Even then I would never trust this rack with anything near 200lbs! Also when this was delivered, nuts, bolts and washers were falling out of the box. It’s a miracle everything was still there. I figured if this rack was rated for 200lbs then it would have no trouble with a couple of XC bikes, but I was wrong. ... show more

  • Economy Rack
If you’re looking for an inexpensive rack for infrequent use, this will work. The problem with this rack is the plastic tightening nuts strip over time. Once they strip, they’re difficult to remove. Once removed, you can replace with a regular bolt and nut from a hardware store.
