  • DISHWASHER SAFE - Can tolerate restaurant or home dishwashers up to 200F. Note that hot pans and ovens WILL MELT any plastic cutting boards. Also, serrated knives and cleavers will scar and cut the surface of the board.

Thirteen Chefs commercial grade cutting boards are designed for heavy use in the most demanding conditions. Chop, cut, slice, dice, filet and carve easily without worry of deterioration or warping. Professional and home cooks alike will benefit from the ultra-durable high-density polypropylene design that is gentle on knives and makes prep work and clean-up a breeze. Each board is made using a multi-process injection molded manufacturing process with HDPP (high density polypropylene) that has superior wear and heat tolerance compared to PE (polyethylene) cutting boards. The surface is lightly textured to provide a slight grip to help assist with prep work. We are an American company that designs quality kitchen ware for professional and home chefs. This is my first plastic cutting board, I like the color (black) I like the size and I like the heft. I regret not having a commercial dishwasher to clean it with, so I guess normal wiping will have to do. I am a one person (old lady) household but I do cut up game such as deer and wild boar and debone it so it will take up less space in my freezer. No, I do not kill that game myself, I pay somebody to do that. Imagine having to cut up enough veggies and some chicken for a sheet pan dinner, this board is perfect for that. When you make a sheet pan full of plum cake you can slide it onto the cutting board and cut it nicely in servings without having to move it to platters to present them to your guests. I love wood and still have many good boards, now they can stay beautiful while I let the plastic board take the abuse. ... show more
