Got this for $20 on a lightning deal around Christmas 2023. This thing is better than the boards I used at work. As a chef of 30 years, working everywhere from fine dining to owning a diner, I've never worked with such a thick, heavy board. LOVE IT! This board would stand up to a commercial dish machine and not even think about warping. So glad I bought this! I used it to cut and serve a prime rib for family dinner. Thick enough that it sticks up past the sides of a sheet tray. Wish I had one of these at the many carving stations I worked at... No running your knife on the edge of the sheet tray! I suspect this will last the rest of my life, and make a great second hand purchase to last another lifetime. Seriously! This thing is a BEAST!

Before you buy this Cutting Board look for the other one star review that has a photo of the imperfections in the surface of the board. I thought, "oh this won't happen to me. Only one bad review." Well, what looks like stains in the other person's review are not just stains. They are depressions in the surface of the board. If I wasn't so tired I would return it and try to find another 1" thick black plastic board. Couldn't find one so I decided not to be such a perfectionist and live with it. Poor quality control.
