This turf has been great. It’s very thick so lots of give to avoid breaking bones especially on bad swings. I’ve had mine over a month and use at least 3-5 times a week with easily 100+ swings each time. I’ve seen very little impact thus far. I have a slight inset where I place ball each time to map to my launch monitor. But it’s non impactful and can easily move monitor an inch to allow that to set back. I’d definitely recommend this turf. If you are going to golf on a simulator spend the money and get a good turf like this. Don’t opt for cheaper options that may worsen over time or hurt arms.

Beaver tail hitting strip seems to build from good quality and the price is right, but I’m thinking of returning. It is good hitting strip for those that hit the ball flush but for me as senior and a beginner with a lot of fat shot the turf is a bit too grabby and too firm. There is a layer of thick hard plastic between turf and soft foam preventing effectiveness of soft cushion especially on wedge shots. My left arm get sore after a round of practice and 18 holes. I’m looking for a replacement for Carl’s divot action advance.

I’m about a month into this, over 3000 shots, some obvious wear but a hell if a lot less than my cheaper mats could take. I was concerned about the size of the mat, it’s been fine and cushy, plenty of room for hitting driver . And to address the elephant in the room, Elbow pain, shoulder pains etc… I am pleasantly surprised, no real issues The mat will punish you for fat shots, and it should, it’s been terrific quality and durability . I have not used and of the other $1000 mats, but at this price , it’s more than enough for you at your home range.

Hit over 2000 balls on this mat no marks on the turf. The turf does come off onto your clubs and theres "green turf dust" that also kicks up when you hit it idk how bad for health that is. Overall definitely better on my elbows than if i were to use normal mat by itself.
