A friend told me about this product to prop open the washing machine door to prevent mold inside the machine. I love the flexibility of the tool. It works great and looks much better than a towel hanging over the door. I bought a few more for gifts. The price is reasonable and this is well made!

I really like this in many ways. It props the washer door open so that the inside is able to dry out and not get moldy or bad-smelling. The only two things I don't like are that its base is too large to fit in the top area of my brand new LG front load washer door area, which would have it more up and out of the way. It will fit down under the door latch, which is where it is, but that leads to my main complaint: The lip that goes around the door catches whatever I'm wearing or carrying and pulls out from my washer door, leaving the lip sticking farther out into the narrow walkway past the washer/dryer to our main outside door. This would not stop me from buying another in the future if I needed one, but I would think strongly about it. Have a good day!

Keeping our washer door open seemed like a never ending battle as someone would always bump it closed when going past it. So I bought this door prop thinking this would keep my door open when not in use. This item works like a charm and we do not even move it as the prop can pivot allowing the door to pass by. Magnet is very powerful and will not move, even when an unbalanced load has the washer vibrating. If you want to keep your front loading washer door open between loads so it doesn't get a sour smell this item is for you! Liked it so much bought my mother one for her washer too. I will change my review if I have issues like others have had after a few months but for now it gets all stars.

I'm thrilled with this. I was so tired of laundry smelling musty. Being able to prop the door open...is a game changer. The magnet is s.trong enough, but not so strong that it will damage or mark up the surface of the dryer . And the arms flexibility is great, so easy to just put it around the door and be on your way.
