This adjustable weight bench set is exactly what I needed for my home gym. It includes the adjustable rack for bench and squats, and a comfortable padded weight bench with 2-inch dumbbell storage. Having the versatility to do flat bench, inclines and squats by simply taking away the bench is a bonus. Note, it will not do decline bench. As far as stability, the construction feels solid and has no problem handling heavier plates. The non-slip feet help keep everything in place during workouts. For the assembly, the instructions were clear, and I had everything assembled in about an hour. I would recommend getting your socket wrench set to speed things up. The compact design is space-efficient and works well for my area without taking up too much room. For the price, the quality and features are excellent. My 13yr old son did the assembly, so pretty easy to put together overall (use a deep socket w extension for the storage bars). The storage bars are NOT strong enough for heavier weights. Screws will/do bend. Seat has good cushion and feels sturdy. Pads on foot bar are good. I wish the safety catch on the top of the frame for the benchpress bar was a bit taller. Sturdy and functional. Not hard for me to put together. Just follow the instructions. And separate your parts. Holds my Olympic weights easily. Probably(and hopefully on my end)will be using for a long time.

If you are a casual or novice lifter, this is not a bad bench for the price. It is compact and provides an incline option. However, it is advertised as 770 lb bench press. Since the world record is 782 lbs, I presume this is meant to emphasize it strength and strudiness. No serious lifter would ever use this bench. The problems I have with it: 1. The bench is too narrow. I feel as if I'm balancing myself on every bench press rep. 2. The gap betweeen the fixed portion of the bench and the incline is too wide, which can injure the back. 3. Cheap bench upholstery. 4. Rickety,wobbily stands for heavy weights--particularly an olympic bar. 5. The bench is not long enough for someone over 6 feet. Works fine, bench is a little narrow and the padding is thin, so it's not very comfortable, but it does what it's supposed to. It's very sturdy. A pain to put together using the provided tools.
