This cute little dehydrator is PERFECT for drying my garden herbs! It takes very little counter space and is very quiet when running. The stainless steel is attactive and looks nice on the counter. I feel like it is an excellent dehydrator for the price. It is so easy to operate and really works for smaller jobs. I have not tried it for jerky or fruit leather....and probably will not. I bought some extra silicone mats from another seller and cut them to size to fit this little dehydrator so I could use every shelf when dehydrating my smaller herbs. One word of advise - if you're wanting to dehydrate "wetter" fruits like bananas, be prepared to follow the manufacturer's instructions, not conventional "recipes". This isn't the highest powered dehydrator you can get, so it takes longer for some things. It is, however, PERFECT for herbs, apples and onions.

Bought this to make healthy treats for our little dog with a heart condition. It works well. Just buy chicken or beef, slice it and dehydrate. It comes out perfect and she loves it. In the long run it saves money and you know what your pets are eating. Our next project will be dehydrating the fruits we like in season.

The media could not be loaded. This little dehydrator is a gem. It’s compact but comes with five stainless steel racks, so there’s plenty of room without taking up too much space. Super easy to use, just set the temp and time, and that’s it. No fuss, no confusing settings. I really like that it’s all stainless steel, so no worries about microplastics. I use it mostly for drying gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, and it works perfectly. I’ve also been re-drying used herbal teas to toss into baths or save for recipes, and it handles those just as well. Simple, solid, and does exactly what I need!

UPDATE: Was contacted by seller and received a second unit after I returned the defective unit, 100% free. New unit works great and dries very quickly. Not as quick as the more expensive dehydrators out there, but dries evenly and gets the job done. Only gripe is that the trays feel cheap, and the holes have almost too much space. Worth the $$$ Set it on a flat surface and left it on for 6 hours. Heard a loud noise that sounded like the internal fan caught on something and came back to see all of the plastic trays melted. Waste of time and money
