While its a pain to change the tires using these instead of a machine, the tools worked exactly as intended, It was my first time changing them myself and without these it would've been impossible. Truly a great product that just gets the job done.

These are the longest tire irons I found. They give plenty of leverage and are strong enough to avoid bending while I was using them. The little rim protectors are useless, as they are rubber and split when I used them - exposing the rim. Minus one star for that. You are better off buying some of the plastic rim protectors sold separately. Other than that, this is a decent set.

The spoon shape is fine when removing a tire/tube, but not installing one. The deep hook shape means that when levering the tire around the edge of the rim there is ample space under the end of the tool for the tube to get under and become pinched. This is bad, because a pinched tube is a popped tube, that is the last thing you want. What you want is a shallow hook, basically close to straight because you don't want the tool going deep into the wheel. Even if you try to avoid this by not letting the hook shape go far under the tire, the curve is a ramp that will naturally make it slide further into the tire as you lift up, increasing the chances of popping the tube. I somehow avoid this fate, but it was very difficult. I had to pry my fingers under the tire so many times to check that I wasn't pinching the tube with the tool that they became bloody. This wasn't an option for the last part too. This is a fine tool for tubeless tires, but if you have an inner tube to worry about get a different shape.
