It’s really nice!!! It’s a great product if ur a pop corn lover like me but HAAAATE spending the price for that movie theater popcorn, it really does taste just like movie theater popcorn corn, THE CON!!! The con is that hot bowl thing inside is a B**ch to get the popcorn out after it’s done popping so u can put it back but honestly th good outweighs the the bad and I’m VERY happy with my purchase, it’s also space saving mine is sitting on my small portable dishwasher cause I live in a smaller apartment and the sound isn’t as bad as u would think!!! My sensory sound sensitive autistic daughter stood there without her noise canceling headphones, now my daughter can handle some noises so if ur kid can’t handle music on a normal level I wouldn’t take this comment and try is around ur kiddo!!! But yes overall I’m happy one full batch in this popcorn machine can feed 18 people a serving and u can go and make another batch immediately if needed!!! Cleaning it is also easier than I thought it would be!!! It is cheaply made tho and if ur not careful the door can pop open so STAND THERE while it pops as u HAVE to turn it off after the pop corn stops popping like a microwave!!! The media could not be loaded. I love that the popcorn from this popcorn popper tastes more like movie popcorn. The kernels seem to be more plump, much bigger and the popcorn butters seem to absorb more in the popcorn in this style. I found an older Pyrex square container that fits perfect in the bottom to catch the popcorn so it makes clean up less and easier to scoop popcorn out into a smaller bowl. It does take a little longer to clean it up as it is a bigger machine. The popcorn smells so good in the kitchen while it pops. I find myself popping more popcorn and leaving a bowl out on my counter as a healthy option of a snack. This is a much better improvement over the round bowl as far as taste and how fast it pops. The instruction booklet provided some great ideas of making different kinds of popcorn. My con in this is that the instruction booklet needs to do better with instructions on how to assemble the inside as I struggle figuring out how to attach the kernel bowl. The instruction booklet was not clear for me to understand. A video showing how to assemble would be even better. The price was competitive to other popcorn machines. ... show more

Okay so this arrived and we waited all day to finally use it as a family and let me tell you, the machine worked flawlessly, no smoke, no weird plastic smell or taste. It was smooth and delicious! We popped great northern popcorn in it and then paired that with flavorcol popcorn salt and snippys popcorn oil on top and lord have mercy! It was like my childhood all over again, just delicious. The machine popped pretty quickly and in seconds had my white home smelling like a mall theater. I'm not even bothered that it doesn't keep the popcorn warm after popping as it's really good once cooled to room temperature, my only complaint is the door that extends open to get to popcorn, it's flimsy and pops in and out way to easily causing a mess if it pops out. I wish it latched in better, though I understand why it's way to easy to pop in and out. It's annoying with small kiddos who love to snack on popcorn. Little hands pull it off. It's also a bit of a pain to clean, though that's probably going to be most if not all popcorn machines soo, I'm not mad about it. Otherwise 10 out of 10 recommend this! We love it. Use it all the time. The popcorn tastes great, far superior to that microwave product. Makes enough in one sitting for everyone. It’s fairly easy to clean. I soak the pieces in soapy water and wipe down the non submersible parts. Make sure you use high quality oil and popcorn. You will not be disappointed. I recommend. UPDATE: The catch pan in the bottom for stray kernels is flimsy and I can see where it won’t last too long. It could almost be mistaken as something that’s disposable. I love popcorn. So obviously my birthday gift to myself was this. Word to the wise, get a set of microfiber cloths to clean this with The popcorn kernel outsides (the stuff that gets stuck between your teeth) are hard to get out of this thing. I clean mine every time I use it. Still don't know how to make it like the movie theater but even just the plain popcorn is good.
