This popcorn maker is awesome. The kids absolutely love it, and the smell of fresh popcorn fills the house just like a movie theater. It was super easy to set up. I had it ready to go in about 5 minutes. It is a great size too. Big enough to make plenty of popcorn for the family, without taking up a ton of counter space. Got it for our basement kitchen and planning to leave it out all the time, it fits on the counter perfectly. I wanted to get a more commercial grade one, but I couldn’t find one short enough to fit under the cabinet. Overall I’m happy with this machine. We made movie theater popcorn last night and just made kettle corn today, both turned out perfect! The only thing I don’t like is it’s kinda tight to get the ingredients into the kettle, as well as dumping the kettle down to get all the popcorn out when it’s done popping. It’s just a little awkward, I think they could have made it a tiny bit bigger to fix that problem. It’s not a huge deal though and for the price it’s still worth it. Other thing that others have mentioned is the magnet on the door is pretty weak, but it doesn’t matter to me much. We’ve only had it 2 days so I can’t speak to how it will last, but I see it holding up just fine. The popcorn in the photo is 1/2 cup kernels, which is the max for a single batch. The video is our movie popcorn, I made a batch, then started a second which I think is the max the machine can hold without spilling everywhere. It’s also pretty easy to clean, I just took the kettle out and wiped everything down with a paper towel between uses. ... show more

It was a gift - It works, and it looks like at the fair - but is is Very Cheap Plastic, broke the front tray the first day. The seek filter the second day. The popped corn is no different than a simple air popper and it takes up 5x the space. Doest make much more than the average air popper.
