This mini-greenhouse/cold box is exactly the size and style I wanted. I'm very happy with it although I've only had it for two days so I can't say how well it will hold up. I gave it four stars because it is what I wanted. It's lightweight, easy to move around by myself, has two shelves and I think will be perfect for starting seeds and growing lettuce and other light veggies into the fall. However, there are some things to consider before buying this item. 1. I don't think it would hold up well with heavy plants/planters. The wood is very light and I'm not sure how much weight the side rails would support. 2. I'll have to see if it moves around in heavy winds. It may need something to hold it down. 3. There are only a few drilled holes for assembly and almost NO placement markings. I had to just wing it with the hardware and, thankfully, it worked but I'm pretty handy and it might be difficult for some people. I also had to drill many holes myself in order to install the screws. That being said, I'm happy with it so far.

I assembled one of the two I bought last week. Haven’t put any plants in it as it doesn’t retain heat. To many gaps for the warmth to escape especially around the doors. They are about an inch to short for the frame. The worst instructions I have ever received for something that needs assembly. I ended using a level, wood clamp, tape measure and ruler for assembly. None of the panels or screws are labeled. Needed the ruler to measure the screws so I knew which ones to use where. Panels are pretty easy to figure out. Very few holes are predrilled. The wood split several times when putting the screws in. The plastic sheeting used to protect the panels is a pain to get off. Had to carefully use a knife to cut holes in plastic sheeting to remove it. The size is good for seedlings and young plants so I’m hoping to make it work. Don’t see these lasting more than a couple of years. So for the price and the $10 In weatherstripping if I can seal up the air gaps I’ll be happy. Update…. The seller has reached out and offered me multiple options to fix the greenhouse. I was pleasantly surprised by the generosity and willingness to make things right

First is that there are only some pre-drilled holes. You need to pre-drill or the pieces will crack. Where there are pr ofe-drilled holes there weren't any holes or even marks on the other pieces to know where they needed to line up . I was able to drill the holes to prevent cracking however I still had some trouble lining things up correctly. On top of that I don't think the pieces themselves are particularly straight or square anyway. I was able to get everything together but it's not lined up perfect so one cabinet rubs on the bottom and the top piece hangs over more on one side than the other. I feel I still need to add a couple pieces of wood to help brace and support it to keep getting it squared up. Also the color is horrible. When I bought "natural" I assumed it would either be unfinished or just a coat of polyurethane or something to protect the wood. Instead it is stained a horrible orange. I don't think it's close to any natural wood color I've ever seen. I decided to paint it instead. Luckily the plastic walls have protective film on either side (at least mine did) so I'm going to spray paint it and it should be easy to peel the film off after without needing to tape things off to paint. It seems sturdy enough for now as long as I only put lighter plants on it but I plan on adding some wood supports to square it up and some to the shelves to beef them up a little.

It's mostly ok. Fairly sturdy. Two shelves made with slats. Water can easily drop through. The side hinges work fine so far. It keeps the lid open. The extra small screws do not fit the hinge holes on the lid. They fall through. Then some of the extra ones are brass so they don't match the steel ones(minor). I had to use my screws. The polycarbonate sucks. I am replacing lid poly with acrylic. Also, the push points break if you bend them too much. (just a note)

The overall greenhouse is about what I expected - it will probably last 2-3 years. The wood is not high quality, nor is the finishing, but that seems fairly reasonable for the price point. However, one of the two shelves has large cuts in the boards that are supposed to hold the plants. The boards are cut through, 25% - 75%. I do not trust them to hold plants, much less when soil and water are added. I sent a picture to Amazon, who passed it to the seller. I was promised a swift replacement. That was in the first week or so of March. This is May 11. Maybe it got stuck behind the big ship in the Suez Canal? Maybe it's on that ship, still being held by Egypt? But even if an unexpected disaster like that is holding it up, I would expect a note saying so. No early spring seedlings for me this year!

Love this for my indoor plants, but I wish there was an option to also purchase a bottom for it. I built one myself so moisture would not impact my floor, but having one with the same material and built specifically for the greenhouse would have been preferred.
