We've had this for a month. We've been very happy with it. One minor issue, if the water pressure gets to low it will stop heating water. If that happens you have to turn off the water for a moment, let the pressure build and turn the water back on. It's only happened to us a couple of times, usually when someone starts washing dishes while the other person is in the shower.

I tried TWO units and they both did exactly the same thing. With one faucet or shower running, they would make hot water. When you open a second faucet, the display goes nuts and starts flickering and it would completely shut off requiring you to fully power down the unit and reset. It is either a programming or sensor issue. If you have higher demand, it should run full blast to keep up as best it can and at the most, just produce lower temperature output, NOT have the display go haywire and shut down the unit. It does not display any kind of error message, the display just flashes and reads out nonsense until you cut power. It was the exact same issue on both units. I have installed Furrion units in other trailers and never had an issue with multiple open faucets other than reduced flow at the faucets. UPDATE: I can confirm both of the units I received were defective or just did not have the capacity as advertised. I installed a Furrion unit with the exact same connections and it will run with THREE faucets open. Yes...of course you will have reduced flow out of all three, but the Furrion doesn't short circuit and shut down like the Fogatti did.

NICE, LONG, HOT SHOWERS IN MY RV - YAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!! This unit definitely does what it's designed to. I've had no issues with it heating the water up, even in the middle of winter. The install was fairly simple, except the wiring. If you haven't messed with RV wiring, there is no "standard" color code and many times the circuits in a single trailer dont follow the same pattern as others. For example, I have circuits where black is ground and others where white is ground. I used an ohm meter to determine this particular circuit. Also, don't forget, RVs are similar to 12v car systems in that they use a negative ground. My unit did have a dead controller on arrival. Amazon made me jump through a bunch of hoops to get in touch with the seller, including a phone call with foreign tech support to tell them everything I'd already told someone in a chat which was annoying. Ince I got in touch directly, the seller was prompt to respond and to send me a new controller.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATED. I do like how easy this was to install and how much thought they gave into the fact that this product will typically replace atwood water heaters with a tank. The optional doors that are available easily cover the original opening of my Atwood 10 gallon tank, 18“ x 18“ hole. Update: recently I tested at 6500 feet in Showlow Arizona and it’s still working very well! Minor Issues: I don’t like that they have a non-adjustable hot water flow sensor, which will turn off the burner/supply of heated water when the hot water flow gets below 0.55 gallons/minute. If I reduce the flow of water because I’m going to shave or if I am dry camping & want to conserve water, the flow sensor will shut off the heat. I’m going to try and turn the water temperature setting down so I have to draw more warmed water and reduce my mixer valve cold water supply to try and work with this flow sensor issue. Some of the 12 V factory installed wiring is touching the hot water copper coils & the technician suggested that I move them.
