If this installation is in place of an old water heater, and adaptor brackets are needed, we recommend 94016 (Arctic White) 94067 (black). Aluminum tank is lightweight and corrosion resistant.

Outstanding replacement/upgrade for older RV's. I have used them now a couple of times and they always fit, easy installation, doesn't come with a door and if it's a retrofit replacing a larger opening water heater be sure to purchase the oversized opening kit which makes it look like a factory install. Ready to run out of the box and water temp was right where it should be. This water heater worked perfect. I own a 25 foot Coleman travel trailer a2013 and the heater went out. My biggest concern was the wiring. I thought, how am I gonna have to figure out this wiring situation. But lo and behold, water heater wiring was the wiring of the old one. Sure surprise me lol. I buy this unit again? Absolutely plug-in play. The only thing is, you have to get creative on the cover for the outside of the travel trailer. I searched out a separate cover, customize modification. This water heater works great. The hot water is hotter and last longer then the Atwood one I had to replace. The dimensions on this site are invalid. I had to go to dometic to get the right specs. Other down side is I run it on propane and it sounds like a jet engine. It is much louder than the old Atwood water heater. I bought the conversion kit and the replacement was easy. It fit right in without any alterations. Replaced a Atwood 96165 GCH6A-10E 6 Gallon ... show more

I’m fairly handy. This was a pretty nice replacement for my Atwood. The tricky parts were getting the door kit (separate purchase) and the plumbing routed differently for this. But I like how you can change the element from the outside. My water seems to get hotter too. I did install some cutoff valves in case it ever goes out again or gets a leak, so I can at least still use the water in the rest of the camper. Definitely a do it yourself and save a bunch kind of project. YouTube is your friend! ... show more
