Below 50 mph there is no noise and up to 70 mph there is a bit of wind noise but no whistling. Very easy inatall with the included 4mm Allen Wrench. Fits just fine on a 2023 Crosstrek, despite Amazon saying they won't fit. They do fit! Nice and sturdy basic crossbars. No change in wind-noise.

Had to take a mitre saw and slim the tool down a bit. It’s a 4mm hex so if you are too incapacitated to modify the tool, buy a cheap set of L shaped hex bits. Fits good and no conplaints

I was pleased when I opened the box and examined these cross bars. It took a little fiddling to get the lengths set correctly, but overall, they installed very easily on my 2023 Crosstrek.
