Pretty easy to install as are most Jeep accessories. . There is a template for the holes to drill. The mounting equipment is a nutsert which if you haven’t used this before, look it up on the web. I tried to post a link but Amazon wouldn’t let me. The stable is very sturdy, well made hardware and looks like it will last a very long time. The folding feature is very compact and does not rattle.

Overall build quality is very good for the price paid. The only cons is that the instructions (which the pictures were helpful) were not extremely clear and doesn't detail what tools you will need. For those who are wondering; you will need: Hex keys: - 2mm - 3mm - 4mm Sockets: - 4mm - 5mm - 8mm - 10mm Would also recommend getting a rivet nut tool (not rivet gun; rivet nut) that does M6. The amount of hardware was just perfect and wish they gave you a few extras because the hardware are extremely tiny and easy to lose. Overall; not bad for the price!

You will definitely need a variety of tools of your own, such as: rivet nut tool, drill bits capable of drilling though sheet metal, multiple allen wrenches, plus your basic pliers, drill etc. because the install is not as simple as you'd hope. The parts do not come correctly drilled so expect to have to re-drill things to fit. And... the instructions are exceptionally poor. But if you can make it through all that, it works for light-weight use. Recommend installing as many rivets as possible since mine pulled loose with only 4 rivets installed and I had to go back and put in more. The shelf materials themselves are good and sturdy/will not bend, so make sure you get it secured to the tailgate well and you'll be set.

I was looking at tailgate table and found this one. The best part is you don’t need to drill anything on your tailgate. Just remove the black plastic wire cover. The screws and washers are small so be careful so you don’t loss them. And that’s it. Looks solid and easy to install. For the price it is a great buy.

For the money, this is a great product. Very simple to install. However, be advised that you should not use the paper pattern to drill your holes. It is off by about 2 inches. Manually layout your whole locations. Otherwise, I’m happy with it.
