  • Great price for what you get
I ordered this to transport a 200lb kid mid-sized dirt bike on a Class III trailer hitch. It worked exactly as described and the price is very good for what you get - especially if you can get it on sale. It isn't as light as a more expensive aluminum carrier but it works just as well. I would probably not want to transport a heavy bike personally but the 200-300lb range seems OK. There are 4 holes to for tie downs. The ramp works great to get the bike up onto the carrier and also has a lip to hold it in place. However, the ramp is heavy duty and probably weighs 1/4 of the total weight of the carrier so if you remove it before handling the carrier it certainly makes it easier. The instructions are very minimal so I recommend consulting images to make sure you are putting it together correctly. Make sure your bolts face outward so the ends are not poking into the rails which might impact your tires. Other than that, it took maybe 1.5 hrs to assemble and test out. There is a very important insert that goes into the trailer receiver part of the transport. This is for integrity so make sure it is in the right place and the right orientation. There is also a metal cylinder that goes over the receiver bolt after you insert and secure it through the receiver hitch with a cotter pin. Overall the price is very reasonable for what you get. Make sure you inventory all the parts before beginning as some might fall out of the box before you get it. I posted a picture so you can easily organize the parts based on what I got. ... show more

  • Sturdy
Looks well made and sturdy. Won't have the bike to test it with for a month. If you can't figure out that the diagram is wrong you shouldn't be trying to assemble anything.

  • A couple quirks but overall very good
Great carrier and great price. A couple of things to note. 1) The ramp does NOT have a second bar securing it, rather there is one bar and the center mounting points. 2) The instructions are pretty bad, and have you install the main rack pieces upside-down. You want those outside attachment points for the ramp to cup upwards so the ramp can hook into them. 3) Don't over-tighten your bolts or the frame will pinch and bend inward. 4) One of the silver cross bolts on each side has a cotter pin. You want this one at your wheelbase so your tires sit in there better, then put back in through the tire if able. Second to last spot is good for a 60in wheelbase. Other than those small things this rack has been great for my ebike ... show more

  • Amazing motorcycle stand with great quality.
I was very hesitant before ordering this motorcycle stand. I have a yamaha R6, Honda Dream, Honda urban express and a Honda super cub. All 4 motorcycles are different sizes and weight. I was so happy to know this can handle each bikes weight. The build quality, ease of installation and general look are all 5 stars. The price point couldn't have been beaten. I would definitely recommend every biker to have one sitting at home. ... show more

  • OK overall.
First things first, it showed up missing a bracket. they weren't very helpful in getting it resolved, just kept saying they would issue a partial refund. luckily, I have a welder, so I just made the missing piece. I'd you don't have that capability, just be warned. Once installed: I've used it several times to hual a CRF 250L behind my Colorado. Works, not super high quality, but does the job. ... show more

  • Get your tools ready
Has to be assembled, but not difficult if you have half a brain. I use it to haul my electric hunting bike. Didn’t want to spend hundreds on a bike carrier, so I took a chance on this one. Works excellent, for a fraction of the cost of a bike carrier. A couple of ratchet straps to hold it down and you’re ready to roll. Kind of heavy and awkward to carry, but how many times do you actually lift it? No regrets on this purchase ... show more

  • Disappointed
Very cheap materials. The thickness of the tubes will not hold 500lbs. If youre carrying under 100lbs, a few times, this is a great way to save money. I am carrying half its weight rating in a 230lb dirtbike and I've had to reinforce it with angle iron and a welder. That only highlighted other weaknesses in this design. Forget about the instructions. Ditch the split washers it comes with and use quality lock washers and thread locker, beware you will crush the thin tube with any torque. The bolts that go across make loading and unloading difficult even for a 21" tire to bridge them. The pro there is unloading if you need to stop it basically does it on its own. The ramp is a joke. It's way too short for anything other than a sedan to use. Even after modifying, this carrier shifts around left to right so much it's unsafe. I wouldn't even feel comfortable reselling it. ... show more

  • Great bike rack
I bought this for my E-Bike, I made a couple of small modifications to the rack and it works perfect. Strap the bike down with a couple of straps and the bike stays put.
