The cover is very resistant to wheather, except the seams around the tips of the 8 spikes - I had to te- sew those. After about a year of using it continuously, the wind finally ripped the pole at the tilt point. Most umbrellas I bought in the past worn out the fabric fairly quickly. Not this one. I have to figure out how to replace the pole and I'm good. ... show more
