I managed to snag 2 of these tanks at $76 each!! I was a little skeptical about these tanks because of some of the bad reviews I read; but, they have been amazing. Both tanks filled with no problem, are so easy to transport and maneuver in the horizontal position instead of vertical, and work great supplying propane for my greenhouse heater. The built in gauge is excellent and seems to be accurate, allowing volume checks at a glance. I tested thoroughly for leaks and found none! Also, these tanks were both 6-8 months old from date of manufacture which is really good since they're able to be used 12 years before needing to be recertified. I bought a tank from another company and they sent me a rusted 3 year old tank for a brand new price. I sent it back and have been very pleased with these tanks.

I have had my eyes on the Flame King for a while now to add to my propane capacity over the standard 20lbs. While priced a bit lower than the competition on their website, it is finally available thru Amazon for even lower. While it isn't a fine example of welding expertise, it is serviceable for its function. My only concern is that horizontal pressure is different from upright and, therefore, not as consistent a flow, but this could smooth out with more use...If you could use more capacity to last thru the winter and have room for a horizontal, the Flame King is a solid choice. Adds capacity/fits exactly as intended to service my propane three burner stove and heater for my boat...

Tanks worked out great glad I had extra line to bend around. My original tanks went left and right at the valves. The ones on these tanks go one direction on both. Be aware of that when you order. Glad with my purchase!!
