My Black Max pressure washer with the Honda GCV160LA0 engine has never worked quite as it should, but worked well enough to get the job of pressure washing done. I should have taken it back when new. It would run only in the choke "on" position. Put it into the "run" position and the engine would die. It rarely started on the first or second pull of the cord and was especially hard if it had been running for a while and you needed to restart it. This gradually got worse with time and eventually would not stay running at all. A local shop wanted to charge $119 to service the carburetor. I had about decided to replace the pressure washer, but noticed carburetors were pretty inexpensive on Amazon and pretty easy to replace. I'm glad I tried it. I made note of the position of springs and gaskets when removing the old as a guide and put the new carburetor, gaskets, spark plug, and fuel line filter in. I was apprehensive with the first pull of the cord. It started instantly and easily and runs better than ever. Look carefully at the illustrations of the kits that come with these carburetors. The carburetors are all about the same as long as you get the one correct for automatic choke or manual choke. The accessories supplied may vary. I couldn't use the fuel line cut-off valve that came with this one since it has a right angle instead of being straight. Some kits come with the cannister fuel line filter, some come with the stick type filter that goes right inside a fuel hose. The stick was what I needed for my application. The choke on the carburetor is held open (off) by a spring, the one on my original had a detent so that it was either open or closed. You have to work against that spring to close the choke valve. The foam filter was not usable, nor was the length of fuel hose. I'm glad I bought it and saved $100 over a repair bill. It cost me some time, but not much.

I don't often give 5 star reviews, because, well, Amazon! They have not always had #1 products. Good products, but not great. This carb worked out of the box, 1 pull on the rope and the pressure washer fired right up and ran all afternoon. Thank you!

It is extremely hard to find a carb for an 81 fr700 tiller but with slight modification had it installed easy and fired right up. Been working ever since.

Installed on a Ryobi pressure washer with a Honda GCV 160 engine. Truly plug and play with no adjustments needed. Fixed the engine surging issue and now it runs great.

This carb kit got my 17 year old Honda mower back in business! Mower has been surging for years and cleaning the old carb didn't fix the issue as it should have. This new carb was a perfect fit for my manual choke mower. Went on very easy and started on first pull and best thing, no surging any more! I was also able to use the gaskets included as well as the filters, and they all worked well! Overall, can't beat the price for this carb kit if you just want to get your equipment running again. Just be sure this carb fits the type on your machine because there are several carb styles available depending on your model.

The install was simple and uneventful, as I like it. After installation, my power washer started right up and worked flawlessly. The fit was excellent and there were no leaks. As matter of fact, the two carburetors could be twins. This was a good buy and would buy again.

Fits perfect and worked great with no tuning needed. The gaskets were well made and good fit. Only complaint is that the fuel shut off valve included has barbs that are way too small to fit the factory fuel lines. But for the low price of the whole kit I can’t complain.
