This is the only high-quality brown mascara option I could find, and I'm pretty happy with it. The color is a nice brown, not red like some people have reported having trouble with in other brown mascaras. The formula is aptly named, as I haven't seen a single clump yet, and it goes on very smoothly and easily, without sticking my lashes together. I'm coming from the Wet N Wild mega length formula which is by far my favorite for how long it makes my short lahes, but as they only make it in Very Black, this works instead. I've tried using that wand in this formula and that works, but obviously more of a pain. This seems waterproof, but is also very easy to remove with a cotton round and eye makeup remover. I haven't noticed any smudging. Overall, I wish this brand had more formulas in a brown color, especially for how pricy it is, but I'm pretty happy with this. It's definitely not as startling and unnatural looking on me, a natural blonde, as a very black color.

I normally use a $29 Dior mascara that I LOVE but considering how quickly I go through it, I was looking for a less expensive option. I tried this Cover Girl mascara because its water-resistant and has a curved wand. Here are my thoughts: Pros: Lengthens and separates lashes beautifully with no clumps. This is one of the least clumpy mascaras I have ever used. It doesn't flake onto your face by the end of the day and as long as you don't touch your eyes, it will not smudge. Cons: The wand is very prickly and irritated my eyes the first time I put it on. I guess I'm used to the thick luxurious brushes that come with expensive mascaras. The formula also feels dry going on, not rich and glossy like expensive mascara. You need 3-4 coats of this stuff to match one coat of the Dior. It's also not waterproof--this is my fault, for buying water resistant when what I wanted was waterproof. It washes off easily but if you tear up or rub your eyes at all, you will have raccoon eyes pretty fast. Honestly, for the price point, this is a great product and I could buy four tubes for the price of one Dior mascara. I would buy again.

Brown color is a bit more subtle and a nice change from black. Goes on easily. Very natural looking. Layers well. Holds up for a long day! Recommended.

I guess it just depends what you want out of it, yes it’s non clumping but it won’t hold a curl even though it’s waterproof and it’s adds no volume or length it’s for a very natural look. I put three layers on and still it’s not doing much for my lashes other than just not getting all clumpy. It’s is very light weight so it won’t make you feel like you’re wearing mascara so if you want something very natural looking and comfortable on your eyes then this is it but if you want your lashes to look great then do not get this you will be disappointed
