It does kink, it does easily unkink, but not as good as my old hose. Secondly the way it was packaged made the hose annoying to the point I couldn’t get it to go on my hose hanger because of how it was coiled stupidly during manufacturing. I am surprised by such a high rating. The hose is nothing special really. It is VERY flexible and kinks easy.. does not feel very sturdy. It is not as bad as the cheaper hoses you can buy at the big box stores, but not far off. I have been buying the black "rubber" style hoses for some time and even after many many years they are still tough and barely ever kink. This hose does kink fairly easily. Time will tell if it holds up. I was looking for a "drinking safe" hose so gave this one a try. ... show more

I bought a garden hose in April for the summer. I hooked it up in the beginning of June. It gets all tangled and leaks, I go drenched using it the first time. It is to late to return it unfortunately. I decided to buy a more expensive garden house that stated "NO KINK FLEXIBLE HOSE" What a freaking joke. This $69 dollar orange hose is no different then the $42 hose I bought. It gets all tangled I spent an hour trying to get it untangle, it kinks up as well. I am tired of spending my good money on products that are mediocre and expensive. Why can't then design a hose that does not tangle, kink and cause customers frustration? ... show more

Have had a few weeks now and it’s fantastic. No leaks, easily unkinks, rolls nicely. If you hook it up and it’s leaking at the connection, check to make sure the little black ring is inside the fitting properly before screwing back on to faucet. Ours was inside the package along with an extra.
