Good price, supposedly drinking water approved, the hybrid construction feels nice. More flexible than the old green kink free hoses. Does hold a bit of a memory, but it easy to overcome, and straightens out after a day in the sun. Haven't had mine kink yet, so I'd say it works as well as the heavy green ones. Also being a light color if you live in a hot sunny climate like me, it helps the water not come out scalding hot for the first minute or two. The fittings are nicely machined, so hopefully it was out of quality stock and they hold up as long as they feel like they should. As another reviewer mentioned, this hose comes with spare gaskets stuffed into the female (wall) connector. Pull them out before you hook it up, there should only be ONE rubber gasket in the fitting when you connect it. Double stacked gaskets will not seal right. ... show more

I cannot rate the 'durability' as I have just received the hose, my only COMPLAINT so far is that the seller is MIS-REPRESENTING the hose's size, the ID is 5/8", only the aluminum fittings are 3/4". Standard "overseas advertising" in modern times, it used to be illegal though... Excellent flexibility, the fittings are good solid aluminum though it is soft aluminum so be sure to use teflon-tape. The hose is so flexible that it is easy to 'squish' to cut-off the water flow, it then returns to its round shape when released. ... show more

Bought to fill water storage containers. needed to be sure water is as clean as possible. Existing garden hose been sitting around for months/years can't be sure whats inside that hose. Hose fitting are good quality, hose material also.
